We are pleased to present this 2008 Porsche 987 Boxster finished in Black over a black standard leather interior. Praised for its agility and outstanding handling characteristics, the Boxster represents exceptional value for any avid driving enthusiast, and this 2008 987 is no exception. Factory optioned with a Tiptronic S automatic transmission and 18” Cayman S wheels, this Boxster is said to have been impeccably maintained and features tasteful modifications including a performance exhaust and upgraded sound system with rearview camera. Now showing approximately 58k miles on the odometer, this 987 Boxster is being listed by its owner out of Coral Gables, FL.
The Black finish is said to be in very good condition and the seller reports this example to have been garage kept and regularly detailed under their ownership. Some slight warping is noted on the lower front bumper as well as minor chips on the front end and a small scratch on the driver’s side door and rear bumper (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Clear side marker lenses have been installed along with LED front fog lights and Suntek Carbon window tint. The factory 18” Cayman S wheels have been powder coated in black with a gloss clear coat. New tires are also said to have been installed within the last 3k miles and ECS Tuning wheel spacers have been fitted for a more aggressive stance (3mm front and 10mm rear).
Inside, the black standard leather interior is said to be in excellent condition with all accessories working properly. The sound system has been upgraded with a touchscreen Pioneer head unit, Sony amplifier, Rockford subwoofer, and 3-way Sony speakers. Other modifications include an integrated rear-view camera, LED interior lights, and a hardwired connection for a radar detector. This Boxster also comes factory equipped with the Preferred Package which includes heated front seats and self-dimming mirrors, and a rain sensor for the windshield wipers.
This 987 is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.7 L flat-six engine that develops 245 HP and 201 lb.-ft of torque stock. Mated to a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels, the sprint from 0 to 60 MPH is accomplished in approximately 6.5 seconds. An aftermarket exhaust is said to have been installed and this Boxster is reported to be in great mechanical order. CARFAX shows consistent dealer maintenance under previous ownership, and its most recent service was carried out under the current ownership in 2020 by Parkhaus in Miami.
Included in this sale are a clean title, owner’s manuals, and some service records. Offering the usability of an automatic gearbox combined with the excitement of a mid-mounted flat-six engine, this Boxster is an excellent all-around sports car for any avid driver.

@twallc4 a 981 Boxster. And no. It’s been garage kept since I’ve owned it (in the description). I have it in a neighbor’s spot in my garage near my car but of course this is not permanent.
@Julian830 What did you buy to replace it and I guess this car sits outside not in a garage.
@Dozer no bodywork that I am aware of. Paint is all original and in great condition.
@twallc4 it was not my plan to initially. Truthfully, I was going to keep it for a long time after all I put into it. I bought another one and only have 1 parking space in the condo where I live... so I can’t possibly keep both.
Window tint is easily removable.

@Julian830 I always wonder, why are you selling this car after 6- months of ownership? Is the window tint removable ?
@Porschelover911 IMS has not been retrofitted. For a 2008, it was sort of a moot point as it was the final year of the Ims and thus the strongest bearing. The Pcar shop I maintained it at had no concerns
@PheasantRun AC blows cold. No issues. Brakes and rotors are in good condition. I have a set of OEM Brembo brake pads for front and rear that I will include in the sale. I bought them months ago as I got a good price and was going to store them until I needed them. Happy to include with the sale
Has the IMS bearing issue been resolved/retrofitted?
Can you please tell us about the air conditioning unit, any issues. Also breaks and rotors?
