Up for auction is this 2008 Porsche 987 Cayman S finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black full leather. Originally sold in Hawaii where it has remained ever since, this Cayman S highlights an upgraded Fabspeed exhaust system as well as some very desirable factory options including 19” Sport Design wheels, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and a 6-speed manual transmission. This 987 was purchased by its current owner in 2020 at just over 13k miles and is now being offered for auction in excellent condition with only 15k miles showing on the odometer.
The Arctic Silver Metallic finish is described by the seller to be all original and in fantastic condition with the only exception being a small chip on the center front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX. Upgraded Fabspeed exhaust tips can be seen in the rear and this 987 comes optioned with the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package and 19” Sport Design wheels with colored center crests. The original Michelin Pilot Sport tires have been retained.
Inside, this Cayman S features a premium black full leather interior with heated and power-operated seats. Other optional equipment includes self-dimming mirrors and a rain sensor, automatic climate control, and the Bose High-End Sound Package with a remote 6-disc CD changer. The headliner was reportedly replaced by a Porsche dealer due to sagging and the cabin is said to remain like-new with all gauges and accessories working properly including the original radio.
This Cayman S is equipped with a mid-mounted 3.4 L flat-six engine capable of producing 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque stock. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission allowing for a Car and Driver tested 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds. This S-model features larger brakes denoted by red calipers and has also been upgraded with a Fabspeed exhaust system for improved sound and power output. CARFAX shows several services from Porsche of Hawaii and the seller states that a comprehensive collection of maintenance records will accompany the sale.
Included in the sale are 2 keys, owner’s books, the original window sticker, a car cover, and a clean title. An impeccably well-preserved example with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, this low mileage Cayman S is ideal for any discerning driver or collector.

Let's go guy's I guarantee your making money on my pics. It doesn't matter if this car sells today. There will be other days. This car is ment for the right person and that may be you. Take that opportunity to buy a car that has $90k in it new, and the car still looks and drives new. Turn it over and you could eat off the floor pan. Grab,a rag and wipe under the wheel wells and you could still use that rag as a napkin. This car will go in storage for another 5 yrs if it doesn't sell today.

Aloha seriously interested bidders. I had a cash buyer here in Hawaii for what I set the reserve at. I wanted this car to go to what I felt was the right person. During my negotiations with the cash buyer I felt in my heart that this was not the right person for such a nice car. Had he respected my asking price which was a not to far off from what he wanted to pay I would have sold it. PCMARKET contacted me as they have seen my ad. I am old school kind hearted type of person. I have never deceived any buyers in all the cars that I have sold. I am confident that every car that I've sold was of the Quality as advertised. I have never had anyone come back to me to complain about there buy. As a matter of fact the last car I sold was a restoration that I built while I battled stage 4 cancer in 201. The buyer bought the car and put it in a climate controlled bubble. He just recently called me and asked me If I wanted to buy the car back. I told him that it was kind of him to consider me. I told him the value of that car has gone up and he can't find one right now if he looked. Actually there was one in Hawaii and the guy was asking more that double of what he paid me. I told him thank you but I have to many cars right now. He told me that I am such a nice guy and he was considering to just give me back the car for free. He said that you built this car when you were dying and you beat cancer so you deserve this car back. I kindly said to him. You sell the car to someone else I'm not deserving of your kindness. He than said I will sell it to you for 5k less then what he paid. I once again said thank you for your kindness but please keep the car and find someone that is right for the car. What I'm leading up to is this. I text the the person that offered me the reserve price that I'm asking and told him that if he was still interested in the vehicle he could go on PCMARKET and bid on the car. He then text me back saying "What A Shame!" This statement confirmed that my heart knew this wasn't the right guy for the car. Let's go guy's and ladies this car looks and smells new, garaged and covered the whole time. Never drivin in the rain. Owned by only 2 guys in there 60's that live in the same neighborhood. This car has absolutely no history of being abused. First owner sold it to me because he bought a Corvette and he told me the Cayman S was definitely better to drive. Maybe I should race him and he'll buy it back when I beat him, just saying lol. His Corvette is red and he said the Porsche Cayman S gets more looks and thumbs up.
In my opinion this car drives and handles better than a 911. That's probably why Porsche wouldn't put equal motors in them. Not knoking the 911 it's a great car and definitely more comfortable. Love both cars
