We are pleased to present this 2008 Porsche 997.1 GT3 RS finished in Jet Black with iconic Tangerine accents.  Being one of only 1,106 examples ever built, this 911 remains one of the rarest modern Porsche models.  With its legendary Mezger engine, factory Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes, and low mileage, this example is not to be overlooked. It is now being offered out of Pennsylvania with only 2,500 miles showing on the odometer.

This 911 is presented in black with Tangerine accenting.  The exterior is stated to be in exceptional condition which is clear when viewing the photo gallery.  A few key styling features of this RS include a fixed rear wing, revised front and rear bumpers, and a set of orange painted 19” GT3 wheels that wear an older set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Inside, you will find a black full leather interior that also shows to be in exceptional condition.  The driver is situated in adaptive Sport seats with Alcantara inserts.  With an original MSRP of over $150k, additional options include Sport Chrono Package, PCM 2.1 with extended navigation, and the Bi-Xenon headlight package.

This GT3 RS is powered by the legendary flat-six Mezger engine which produces 415 HP at 7,600 RPM, and 300 ft-lb of torque. This GT3 RS is capable of reaching 60 mph in approximately 4.1 seconds.  The seller states that the engine performs like new and will carry out an oil and filter change before delivery.

The sale will include two keys, factory books, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean Carfax report.

    I may have missed it... any film or ceramic protection on the car?

    @OnlyOnePorsche Hello again
    I did not know that the dealership had the car for 4 years.
    I do not have the original window sticker and the dealer got the C.O.A. for me from Porsche.
    I believe that the car was certified pre owned again I believe that. I was given paperwork to that states "certified" I do not believe the dealership pulled a fast one as they are pretty reputable.
    I do know that this is an awesome car and if someone gets it I do know that they will be happier than they were before they got it. Yes it is that nice..in fact I can pretty much guarantee it. I hope that answers your question.
    If you look at the phots again I believe that you will believe its an awesome car.. Best of luck

    When you say the car has been "Certified" do you mean it has been certified by :New Port Auto Center ( 3 months on the car and 5,000 miles on power tran). This is a different then Porsche. Porsche can only CPO (certified pre-own a car), that's a 2 year warranty on the car and you would have the certificate. I think your car is the first description. Please confirm. Also, do you have any knowledge of why the car was at the dealership from 5/2013 thru 5/19/2017. You purchased the car on 5/19/2017 . The dealership had the car 4 years..maybe the owner held back on selling or what. Do you know anything about the 4 year respite . Do you have the "Window Sticker". Thank you for addressing the above minutiae.

    @Paulk1 THANK YOU for your question.. Porsche recommends MOBIL 1 and that is what I use in this car.

    Just because I’m neurotic... what oil are you using? Thanks!

  • nosubstitute4porsche (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    @mdkillen Hi I do not have one and I apologize. The car does not appear to have been tracked or beaten on by appearance. There was not a report when I bought it from the dealer(Newport Porsche) They did certify it . I hope that helps, sorry if it does not.

  • mdkillen (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    Any chance for a DME report? Or did I miss that?

  • nosubstitute4porsche (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    @OnlyOnePorsche CONTINUED. the tires are the same ones that were on the car when I purchased it . They served my purpose as I do not track my cars and this one has not been given any real exercise as it is designed for.I did not notice any dry rotting but I do appreciate that tires do have a tendency to cause issues when they are not within the "suggested date code"THANK YOU AGAIN

  • nosubstitute4porsche (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    @OnlyOnePorsche Please understand, the more questions the better. I am taking this as a learning experience and all questions are good.My thoughts are that the tires

    The reason I asked your ad said older Michelin PSS and was just looking for confirmation. When buying cars there's always a lot of questions. Thank you for addressing my questions.

    @OnlyOnePorsche Thank you for viewing..
    1) The car has NOT had any of the services that you asked about
    2) the car has NO PAINT WORK AND DOES have all its original panels
    3) I do not have a DME report however I have no reason to believe it has any over revs.
    4) The car shows no visual signs of being on "the track"
    5) The car was certified by Newport Beach PORSCHE when I purchased it.
    6)MY QUESTION TO YOU SIR do you still have enough interest for me to get you the "dates on the tires" or has the information I have provided taken away your interest?
    thank you.

    Does the car come with the window sticker, over rev report, what is the date on the tires, has the car had the plugs changed or a 15,000 mile tune up not because of miles but time: P/S, Brake, Coolant, Transmission, Differential flush or inspection and receipts. Is the car 100% stock and paint & panels all original. Thank you.

  • nosubstitute4porsche (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    @redlodge HELLO I meant DME.

  • nosubstitute4porsche (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    @redlodge Hello I do not have a due report. The car was certified by Newport porsche where I bought it and prior to that came from the first owner in Texas. Car will not disappoint. No visual sign of any track use.. I mean none at all.. Car is mint, mint..
    P.S. LESS THAN HALF 2008 BLACK GT3RS CARS WERE PRODUCED THAN IN 2007(SOURCE RENNLIST ARTICLE )
