The pinnacle of the sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette (C6), the ZR1 features carbon-fiber body panels, cross-drilled Brembo ceramic brakes, and a supercharged LS9 V8 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This 2009 example is wrapped in matte black exterior paint protection film over Black paint with an Ebony leather interior and features the optional 3ZR Premium Equipment Group. It was purchased by the current owner about 10 years ago and recently received an upgraded 416ci (6.8L) engine block along with a JTM custom camshaft, a 103mm throttle body, a ported Kong Performance supercharger, American Racing headers, and a Flex Fuel kit. Accompanied by a dyno test report showing an output of 830 HP, this upgraded ZR1 is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 62k miles showing on the odorometer.
The ZR1 features lightweight carbon fiber for the roof, hood, fenders, front splitter, and rockers. It also comes with a unique polycarbonate engine window, xenon headlights, fog lamps, blue Brembo brake calipers, and quad exhaust outlets. This example is finished in Black with a removable layer of matte black paint protection film over the full exterior. The taillights and turn signals have also been tinted. The car rides on factory 19”/20” 20-spoke aluminum finished in black with Toyo Proxes R888R tires showing 2019 production date codes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Ebony leather upholstery and matching carpets. The optional 3ZR Premium Equipment Group includes heated and power-adjustable sport bucket seats with memory, a power-telescoping steering wheel, and a premium 7-speaker Bose sound system. Other amenities include a heads-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, push-button ignition, and cruise control. An aftermarket Pioneer head unit with Apple CarPlay has been installed.
In 2024, the LS9 V8 was rebuilt with an upgraded 416ci block featuring all new seals and gaskets, machined cylinder heads, a custom JTM Motorsports camshaft, a 103mm Nick William throttle body, a ported Kong Performance supercharger, a Kong Performance air intake, American Racing headers, and a Flex Fuel kit. The car was professionally dyno-tuned and tested with an output of 830 HP and 653 lb.-ft of torque in May 2024. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission with an upgraded clutch and factory limited-slip differential. Standard features include speed-sensitive power steering, Magnetic Ride Control, and cross-drilled Brembo ceramic brakes with 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. The seller indicates there are no catalytic converters equipped.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “After 10 years of ownership it’s time to move on. Loved every minute of it. I’ve spared no expense having the car serviced by one shop.”

@Cowboy7597 vin
@aaacooled911 not sure but its i think the 84th one they made if i read the bin correctly
@cowboy7597 What is the production date on this beauty?
This is so much better than a Camaro SS 1LE, it isn’t even funny. That Transformers cosplay doesn’t hold a candle to the capabilities of the ZR1. Whoever wins this car is getting a seriously nice machine.
@Lottacars not sure might be 3m but is actually a colored ppf. Only issue is by the top of the bumper from the bumper shaking while driving not a big deal. Slight line hard to explain
Thnaks. What is the material (brand) and any flaws?
@Lottacars my friend had a shop and since sold it. I didnt pay for it because i did some demo work for him. Its 3 years old and its a satin ppf.
Who did the wrap, when was it done and what was the cost?

@SteveSims not really i build houses not cars id have to ask the shop. I have the paperwork for the work. The heads as far as i know were done by lingenfelter and redone to make sure nothing was wrong upon the assembly with the new block.
@Cowboy7597 the block? Rotating assembly? Can you tell the 4 digit casting on the front of the cylinder head?
@SteveSims ls9 no paint work just a scratch on the passenger door. Paint is original
Is the block an LS9 or LS2/3 based?
How’s the paint under the wrap?
Any paintwork?
Thanks very much
@Chriscorv58 the cam was chewed up and metal was going through the engine. Also one of the lifters mushroomed inside so we went the route of a new block.
@Chriscorv58 i dropped the car off in November and picked back up in May. Wasnt in a rush due to the weather in NY.
@Chriscorv58 the block came from LMR.
What was the reason for the 418ci engine? what block was used was it the factory ls9 block and when was the engine built? Any more details would be appreciated.
@Chriscorv58 has the sensor to do both. But i think on e-85
Is this tuned for 93 pump gas or E85?
