In celebration of their 16th Formula One constructor championship in 2008, Ferrari built the F430 Scuderia Spider 16M, a convertible version of their high-performance track-focused F430 Scuderia. Just like the coupe, the Spider 16M is equipped with a high-compression 4.3L V8 producing 503 HP, a race-tuned suspension with electronically controlled dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a spartan interior. It weighs around 200 lbs. less than a standard 430 Spider, thanks to the use of aluminum, carbon fiber, and lightweight resin bumpers. Limited to just 499 examples produced worldwide, this particular Spider 16M was delivered new in Florida, ordered in Nero with gray Scuderia stripes over a black Alcantara interior with optional red contrast stitching. Acquired by the seller from the original owner in April of 2021, it has received full-body paint protection film and has been consistently serviced at Ferrari dealerships. Now showing 8389 miles on the odometer, this extremely rare Ferrari Scuderia 16M Spider is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of California.
This Ferrari is finished in Nero (508) with a black convertible fabric top, and gray Scuderia stripes. Exterior details include lightweight resin bumpers and side skirts, Scuderia fender shields, 16M fender badging, xenon headlights, yellow carbon-ceramic brake calipers, a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, taillight panel, roll hoops, and engine cover, as well as a specialized badge on the rear grille denoting Ferrari’s 16 Formula 1 Constructor titles. The entire vehicle has received the application of paint protection film after a thorough paint correction as is said to be in excellent original condition. The gray 19” alloy Scuderia wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires displaying date codes from 2021.
The cabin is upholstered in black Alcantara, which spans from the carbon fiber-backed seats to the dashboard and sun visors, and features optional Rosso contrast stitching throughout and embroidered Prancing Horses on the headrests. Carbon fiber trim can be seen on the door panels, center console, steering wheel, air vents and the optional door sill guards. Equipment includes an optional passenger-floor mounted fire extinguisher, a steering-wheel integrated digital tachometer, the Manettino switch for selectable driving modes, automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, a 6-speaker sound system, and an iPod Touch dock in the dashboard. A plaque reading “16M Scuderia Spider Limited 1/499” is mounted to the center of the dashboard, and another plaque on the passenger side dash celebrates Ferrari’s 2008 Formula 1 Constructor championship. The seller reports no sticky buttons, a common issue with Ferrari’s of this era.
The 16M Spider is powered by a high-compression dry-sumped quad overhead camshaft 4.3L V8, and was factory rated at 503 HP and 347 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a F1Superfast 2 automated manual transmission. It can accelerate from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 199 MPH, and at the time, was the fastest open-top Ferrari ever built. Performance features include standard Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, an E-Diff electronic rear limited-slip differential, F1-Trac traction control, adjustable shock absorbers, a variable steering rack, and a factory-tuned free-flow exhaust system. The CARFAX report shows a consistent history of Ferrari dealership service, with the last entry occurring in August of 2021 at Ferrari of Rancho Mirage, California.
This sale will include 2 sets of keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, an optional space-saver spare tire, and extensive maintenance documentation.

@Boattail I had a Scud that had these lamp assemblies replaced under warranty. Although I can't recall the exact amount, I can tell you that they are very expensive to replace.
@Boattail yes there are about $8000. But there is a company that will take the original headlights and “clean” them up. I opted not to do it because I didn’t want them to have them take apart the light and then end up having water condensation after

answers to the questions;
1. last major service was right before I purchased the car last year at ferrari rancho mirage
2. 80% remains in the clutch
3. I can confirm that no paint work has been done besides buffing out minor blemishes before applying PPF
4. everything works, no sticky buttons, lights, ipod, roof
5. the rag top is in good condition, no scratches, tears
6. driver's seat in good condition, alcantera not work, same condition as passenger
7. carbon fiber under engine cover in great shape, not discolored
8. all glass is good, no delaminations
9. headlights are original so there is "webbing"
10. I do not keep cars for very long, I buy them, enjoy them and sell them
11. all books, tools, spare, trickle charger present

1. when was the last major service? can you post the receipts
2. how much clutch remains
3. are you planning to get paint meter readings? or can you confirm if there car has had paint work?
4. does everything work ?

6. I also can't see the driver's side seat condition
7. is any of the carbon fiber under the engine cover discolored?
