Introduced by parent company Mercedes-Benz in 2002, the Maybach brand entered the ultra-luxury sedan market with their 57 and 62 model sedans. This 2009 Maybach 57S was ordered in Baltic Black over a Black/Anthracite Exclusive leather interior and was optioned with amenities including power rear side curtains, heated and ventilated active seats, retracting rear tables, and a solar-powered ventilation system. It has also been fitted with the Renntech R1 Performance Package which provides an ECU tune, a TCU tune, and a higher efficiency intercooler pump for a power output of 625 HP and 745 lb.-ft of torque. Benefitting from a lifetime of dealership service, this 2009 Maybach 57S is now being offered at auction by its seller out of New Jersey showing approximately 37k miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Baltic Black (131) with a gloss black front grille, gloss black window surrounds, and gloss black body trim. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with automatic level control, fog lamps with high-pressure washers, infrared laminated reflective glass, power-folding heated auto-dimming mirrors with integrated indicators, pneumatic soft-close doors, dual aero-blade rain-sensing windshield wipers with a heated washer system, “57S” and “powered by Renntech” fender badges, Maybach C-pillar badges, black brake calipers, and a solar roof panel. The body received an application of ceramic coating in 2020, and the seller notes some paint cracking on the rear bumper, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The 19” hollow-spoke wheels wear gloss black Maybach center caps and are clad in Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2016 date codes.
The opulent cabin is trimmed in Black/Anthracite Exclusive leather with an Alcantara headliner and pillars, black carpeting, and piano black Poplar wood trim lining the dashboard, door panels, center consoles, and rear storage compartments. Amenities include optional front 3-stage heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats, optional rear 3-stage heated and ventilated seats, optional power rear-side curtains, optional retractable rear tables with matching veneers and Nappa leather trim, a solar-powered ventilation system, a power sunroof, a rear cabin audiovisual system with a DVD player, single-feed 6-disc CD changer, auxiliary inputs, and dual 9.5-inch video monitors, 4-zone automatic climate control, Keyless GO keyless entry, push-button ignition, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a 6.5” COMAND center console infotainment display with navigation, a power tailgate, a rear console refrigerator, rear seat instrumentation with an analog clock, a speedometer, and ambient temperature, and a 21-speaker BOSE sound system.
The Renntech-upgraded 6.0L V12 AMG Biturbo engine produces up to 670 HP and 840 lb.-ft of torque, an increase of 66 HP and 102 lb.-ft of torque over stock. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed adaptive automatic transmission, which has also received a Renntech tune for quicker shift times. Performance features include an Airmatic dual-control air suspension with the electronically-controlled Adaptive Damping System, speed-sensitive power-assisted steering, and an electrohydraulic 8-circuit braking system with dual electrohydraulic control units, predictive brake priming, automatic brake-pad drying, and an adaptive brake pedal. The CARFAX report shows a consistent history of dealership maintenance, and the last recorded service shows a four-wheel alignment was performed in September 2019.

@RetroOrville The last service was done last year. Major service was done by the previous owner in 2019 so it should be due for full service next year due to time and not miles. Yes, the curtains are powered.

Cool Maybach. Love the Christian music in the video. A few questions: Carfax shows two oil changes, last was 7 years or 22K miles ago, no record of fluid changes, since? Do we know when the major service (drive belts, tranny filter, EFI clean, plugs, etc. will be or was due? I suspect before 50K miles? The curtains are power, correct? Good presentation. Thank you.

Are you sure the rear seats don't recline? In the video, one of them is reclining more than the other, and it appears to have that adjustment on the door. Not complete reclining, but adjustable.

@zollerm unfortunately, this vehicle does not have rear reclining seats. Those are available on the 62 models. But the vehicle does have active massagers in the front and rear seats, as previously mentioned. We will be uploading another video of the interior shortly. Thank you.
