Available for auction is a Ferrari Shell Historic Challenge racing suit made by Sabelt. The suit was produced in 2009 and is a Euro size 58 (UK size 3XL).
The suit features embroidered Ferrari, Shell, and Sabelt patches as well as a red stripe running the length of the suit. Other features include; elastic cuffs, an elastic waist, an adjustable belt and a zipper.
The seller states these type of suits are not commercially available and are provided to clients who are enrolled in the Ferrari racing program. This particular suit was commissioned for the Ferrari organized Historic Challenge where vintage race cars owned by private customers can once again drive competitively. The suit was only worn during a handful of endurance race events and the seller states the condition is exceptional with only minor surface marks (perhaps oil spray) in just two locations. The seller notes the suit has been dry cleaned once and has been kept in storage since the event took place in 2009 at the Pista di Fiorano in Italy. The buyer is responsible for shipping, shipping insurance, handling, and transactional fees.

Hello everyone and thank you for viewing this auction.

Winning the auction and what happens next:
As many of you may know, the great team at PCarmarket offers a combination of very special and unique items for sale via auction. The format is simple - every week day a new hand picked selection of items is presented to the public and everyone is welcome to place a bid for those items.
Each auction lasts for 7 days. At the end of the auction the item will either be sold to the highest bidder, or the item may appear in the PCarmarket ‘Deal Tank’ if the ‘reserve’ has not been met. The Deal Tank allows for offers to be made on the item and also to purchase the item immediately.
When the item has officially been sold, both the buyer and the seller receive an email almost instantly with the other parties contact details. At this very point in the sales process, the buyers registered credit/bank card is charged for the PCarmarket commission and the final balance of the item in question is settled between both parties.
Packaging & Shipping:
Every item submitted to the PCarmarket website can be shipped almost anywhere in the world using companies such as UPS or FedEx.
I always do all that I can to ensure items are packaged professionally and safely. I do not charge for the actual packaging of the items as I have an abundance of shipping material in storage. The only cost would be for the actual courier itself.
Shipping Crates & Specialist Packaging:
In certain situations a shipping crate may be required for certain items and this may even be a special request of the winning bidder to ensure the safe delivery of the item in question.
Unless a shipping crate has been specified in the listing or in the comments section, then this will incur an additional cost to the shipping price as the crate would need to be commissioned by a specialist manufacturer (a 7-10 day turnaround time on average would be a fair estimate).
There would be no additional fees to organise the crate production (only the cost of the crate itself would be required and for it to be paid for in advance of production). I do appreciate the delicate nature of some items will benefit greatly from this. To enable a fair and balanced sale of these cherished items, I am happy to spend the time involved to have this request fulfilled if desired.
If anyone has any questions please just let me know as I am always happy to help in any way that I can.
Due to my current working and personal commitments and the time zone difference, there may be a slight delay in my response. However, I will always reply as soon as I can.
Thank you once again to everyone for the interest you have shown and I wish you all the very best of success in the auction.
