DT-Direct 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S 6-Speed

Now available is this 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Coupe finished in Carrara White over a Black standard leather interior. Launched for the 2009 model year, the 997.2 generation of the Carrera featured new direct fuel-injected engines as well as styling updates both inside and out. This example was acquired by the seller in February of 2020 and has since received a host of tasteful upgrades including HRE Flowform wheels, KW coilover suspension, GT3 control arms, and more. It is now being offered by its seller out of California while showing just under 69k miles on the odometer.

This example is finished in Carrara White with color-matched “Carrera S” badging and headlight washers. The seller notes that the car was involved in a minor accident in 2020, and the front bumper and driver's side fender/door were subsequently refinished. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a CARFAX report. Details include factory dynamic cornering lights and a set of aftermarket 19” HRE Flowform FF01 wheels in black with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

The Black standard leather interior comes factory equipped with heated front Comfort Seats including driver memory as well as the Bose High-End Sound Package, PCM with navigation, and XM Radio, as well as the instrument dials, rear center console, and trim stripes painted in Carrara White. A Numeric Racing pedal set has been added and the seller confirms all electronics and accessories remain functional.

Power comes from a direct fuel-injected 3.8L flat-six which has been fitted with an IPD intake Plenum, BMC air filter elements, “Gundo” modified mufflers, and a Moshammer X-pipe. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with Numeric Racing shift cables and a short shift kit. A set of semi-solid motor mounts have been fitted and the suspension has been optimized with a set of KW V3 Coilovers with new upper shock mounts, GT3 outer front and rear lower control arms, and Stomski Racing front and rear toe arms, bump steer kit, and inner front and rear lower control arms. Services are said to include a new clutch and flywheel at 27k miles, and more recently new oil, filters, belts, and tensioners at 68k miles.

This sale will include a clean title.

@512broker Hey, thanks 512. So the previous owner was a good customer of mine. My shop doesn't report to carfax. I have all of his history with the car. Under my ownership I don't have records as I did all the work myself and not through the shop. I would be happy to write something up but it wouldn't be an official invoice. The tires were bought new with the wheels in 2020 along with new TPMS sensors. I recommend spark plugs every 40k miles. The car just needs oil changes every 5k or once a year. I know everyone says there car is perfect and doesn't need anything but this car is perfect and doesn't need anything, haha. I am happy to put the car on a hoist for you and give a detailed tour to show you how clean it is.

Nice car August. I like the mods. Do you have any service records for the work mentioned at 68K miles? Or other records? Carfax shows no detailed info on servicing from Second owner during ownership to 61K miles. Also, as a Porsche Tech are there any needed or recommended service items. Like 40K or 60K service? Tires appear to show 2020 date code. Is this correct. Thanks!

@likethemonth Thank you for adding those. Were any of the pieces (Bumper, fender, door) replaced or were they repaired and repainted? Fender looks like it took the brunt of it.

Are you free to show it this weekend? Im not far from you.
