Now available is this 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Coupe finished in Carrara White over a Black standard leather interior. Launched for the 2009 model year, the 997.2 generation of the Carrera featured new direct fuel-injected engines as well as styling updates both inside and out. This example was acquired by the seller in February of 2020 and has since received a host of tasteful upgrades including HRE Flowform wheels, KW coilover suspension, GT3 control arms, and more. It is now being offered by its seller out of California while showing just under 69k miles on the odometer.
This example is finished in Carrara White with color-matched “Carrera S” badging and headlight washers. The seller notes that the car was involved in a minor accident in 2020, and the front bumper and driver's side fender/door were subsequently refinished. The Black standard leather interior comes factory equipped with heated front Comfort Seats including driver memory as well as the Bose High-End Sound Package, PCM with navigation, and XM Radio, as well as the instrument dials, rear center console, and trim stripes painted in Carrara White. A Numeric Racing pedal set has been added and the seller confirms all electronics and accessories remain functional.
Power comes from a direct fuel-injected 3.8L flat-six which has been fitted with an IPD intake Plenum, BMC air filter elements, “Gundo” modified mufflers, and a Moshammer X-pipe. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with Numeric Racing shift cables and a short shift kit. A set of semi-solid motor mounts have been fitted and the suspension has been optimized with a set of KW V3 Coilovers with new upper shock mounts, GT3 outer front and rear lower control arms, and Stomski Racing front and rear toe arms, bump steer kit, and inner front and rear lower control arms. Services are said to include a new clutch and flywheel at 27k miles, and more recently new oil, filters, belts, and tensioners at 68k miles.
