The 2009 model year marked the introduction of the updated Porsche 997.2 generation featuring a series of more powerful direct fuel-injected engines along with refreshed styling and a new PCM infotainment system. This 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Cabriolet is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and comes finished in Black over a Brown Natural Leather interior. It was generously configured at an original sticker price of over $117k including painted interior trim and Sport Seats backrests, extended leather upholstery, a logo-embossed storage compartment lid, Bose High-End Sound Package, and stainless-steel door sills with model insignias. Supported by service records showing nearly $20k invested since 2017, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with just over 71k miles on the odometer.

This 997.2 is finished in Black with a matching cabriolet roof and is distinguished as a Carrera S model by its red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. It features optional Black-painted headlight cleaner covers and mirror attachment points as well as a rear model designation delete and colored Porsche crest center caps for its 19” Carrera S II wheels. The seller indicates the front bumper, hood, and fenders were previously refinished to address rock chips. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor rear-end damage in 2016 and minor-to-moderate damage in 2019.

The cabin is appointed with premium Brown Natural Leather upholstery accented by an optional Black-painted instrument surround, seatbelt outlets, and Sport Seat backrests. Extended leather upholstery also covers the inner door sills, rear center console, sun visors, rear clothes hooks, seatback release levers, gear lever, and dashboard trim. Other options include a thicker leather steering wheel, an aluminum footrest, stainless-steel door sills with model insignias, floor mats with colored trim, and a center storage compartment lid with an embossed model logo. The car is also equipped with self-dimming mirrors, heated front seats, Navigation Module for PCM, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and a Universal Audio Interface.

A naturally aspirated and direct fuel-injected 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 385 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller indicates upgraded exhaust headers were installed in 2021, the clutch was serviced in 2022, and additional maintenance records are available dating back to 2017. Corresponding invoices are provided for reference in the gallery.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Miami Garage Classics is pleased to offer this astonishing 997.2 Porsche for sale. This 2009 Porsche 911 S Convertible was ordered in Black body over a Brown Leather interior and black cabriolet top. Overall, the vehicle shows exceptionally well as it has spent most of its life being garage-kept. The 6-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through gears, the clutch was serviced in 2022 and it’s working flawlessly, along with the brakes and suspension all working perfectly as they should. With an excellent and well-documented history of maintenance going back to 2017, the records show a grand total of almost $20,000 invested in the maintenance of this vehicle. This is a very well-maintained car, that presents itself beautifully, has no mechanical or aesthetic issues, and is ready to enjoy with no excuse.”

Also still waiting on the DME report. This is critical if you expect to get us bidders to pony up the cash for a manual Porsche. Especially one with aftermarket racing headers.

The listing describes "floor mats with colored trim". The pics do not show any floor mats. Are they available? Please upload photo if so.

@jfsnider Good morning, the top was recently serviced due to that issue (not closing properly at the passenger side), per the service record the top compartment motor was repaired, and the top was synchronized and adjusted to proper values.
The video was just sent to the auction team to be uploaded.
Please let me know if you need more information or details

Could you show the other pages from Invoice # 5118 ? Curious what they did for 7G's.

  • jfsnider (registered bidder) 7 months, 2 weeksago

Service records show replaced top, but on some side pics the rear quarter of the top looks creased and grayed. Please comment on this. Also, would like a rear video to hear sound of headers. Thx

  • MiamiGarageClassics (seller) 7 months, 3 weeksago

@dangramm Good morning, while the two damages are marked as minor, we don't have any details about those events, unfortunately.

  • dangramm (registered bidder) 7 months, 3 weeksago

    @MiamiGarageClassics
Thanks for the info. Do you have any info on the two damage reports on the carfax?

  • MiamiGarageClassics (seller) 7 months, 3 weeksago

@dangramm Hello, we just uploaded all the invoices related to the clutch and headers services, so you can check the details on what was done and what were the parts used.
Aside from the services detailed in the records, we have no knowledge of any other modification on the car.

The listing mentions that the clutch has been serviced. Does serviced mean replaced? Has the clutch been replaced?
The listing mentions upgraded headers. Can you elborate on what headers were installed? Do they have cats? Are the cats operable? What other exhaust modifications have been made?
    Thanks.
