One of the most desirable 997s of all, the 2009 Turbo marks a transitional model year featuring the original 3.6-liter Mezger engine paired with the second-generation interior and updated PCM system of the 997.2. This example features a host of desirable options including a Carrara White finish over a specially ordered Cocoa leather interior, a 6-speed manual transmission, Sport Chrono Package Turbo, Adaptive Sport Seats, red taillights, several painted exterior parts, and more. Previously sold on PCARMAKET, this Turbo is now being offered by its seller while showing approximately 43k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Carrara White with a Cocoa convertible top, this Turbo presents optional red taillights and painted exterior items including the side skirts, spoiler lip, and lower area of the rear apron. Model-specific details include factory-widened rear fenders, dual-side air intakes, and 19” Turbo wheels. The CARFAX report notes water damage, however, documentation will show that the only damage caused to this vehicle was on the convertible top due to vandalism. The seller states that the top has since been professionally replaced at a certified Porsche dealership and records will show that this vehicle never suffered any water damage. The seller states LED lighting has been installed and notes minor curb rash on the rear wheels along with a light scrape on the front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with paint meter readings provided by the previous seller in November 2020.
The cabin presents a special-order Cocoa leather interior featuring hard-back Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche-crested headrests. As a 2009 variation, this Turbo’s interior sports the highly desirable updated PCM unit. Additional optional features include a thicker leather 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel, XM Radio, Universal Audio Interface, and Cocoa floor mats, while Sport Chrono Package adds a stopwatch dial mounted atop the dashboard.
The legendary 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six Mezger engine generates 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque stock to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The seller adds that a Europipe Stage I exhaust system, EVOMS Performance ECU tune, and Numeric Racing adjustable short shifter have been installed, and routine service has been carried out. Recent service documentation is available for viewing in the gallery, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 22 service history records dating back to 2009.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: "Thank you for visiting my auction. I've owned it for almost 3 years. It is garaged in a climate-controlled attached garage. A new top was installed, and all maintenance is up to date. The car needs nothing, except perhaps a new home as I am downsizing. There have been mild engine and exhaust upgrades installed professionally. See attached invoices. Thanks!"

GED2GT3 - Good morning. The paint meter readings have been posted, as you can see. I have posted the DME test results this morning. As to the clutch being replaced, early on, when I decided to do the engine/exhaust upgrades, I was told there would be a significant upgrade in the Mezger engine performance, which proved true. I was told that, while everything was apart, it might be a good idea to upgrade the clutch with a new one to best accommodate the increased HP/performance.

@vero can you elaborate on why the clutch was replaced so early into your ownership? it seems it was replaced only 20k miles prior to that.
@vero thank you. I don’t see the records posted yet but I imagine it takes time for pcar to post.
Would love to see paint meter readings as well please!
The car was vandalized before I purchased it. The top was cut open and the car was burgled. The insurance company replaced the top with a cheap aftermarket replacement. There was never any water damage. After I purchased the car, I had an authentic German top installed. I have posted the relevant invoice. Also, I am taking the car for a DME test Friday, June 2. I did not keep any of the used parts that were upgraded. I will also post all service records during my ownership.
@vero thanks. The DME will influence my decision to visit and bid. Can you elaborate on the details regarding the mistakenly labeled “water damage”? Do you have the original parts? Shifter, exhaust. Has the car ever been put on a dyno? Also, can you post service records under your ownership?
I absolutely have a clean Florida title in hand. Definitely not a salvage title. The dealer I bought the car from promised to have the Carfax report corrected but it never got done. I do not know if P Car will allow me to post the title, but I have no problem sending it to you directly. I will post the invoice for the new authentic German top. I will see if I can get a DME report after the holiday. Thank you for your interest.
@vero also dme report
@vero please post records regarding top replacement. Please provide records relating to “water damage” incident.
Does the vehicle really have a clean title? Or is there a salvage title from the water incident? Can you provide Carfax report and image of title.
