One of 1,156 examples produced for the 997.2 launch year, this 2009 Porsche 911 Targa 4S is finished in Macadamia Metallic over a Sand Beige leather interior and features a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, 19” Sport Design wheels, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. This 997 is now being offered for auction out of California with just over 88k miles on the odometer.

This 997.2 comes finished in Macadamia Metallic and can be distinguished as a 4S by its wider, more aggressive body panels and the iconic reflector band that runs across the rear bumper. Optional 19” Sport Design wheels are dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller notes that a previous owner lightly impacted a stationary object, and some minor imperfections are noticeable. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage in March of 2022.

Unique to the Targa, this 997.2 is equipped with a sliding glass panoramic roof including an opening rear hatch, providing extra luggage space and easy access to the rear seats. The interior is appointed with Sand Beige leather and features 14-way power Comfort Seats. Optional equipment includes matching floor mats, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and self-dimming mirrors. The interior is noted to be in very good condition with slight signs of wear.

This 911 is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six engine that drives all four wheels by way of a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. Producing 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque, this 4S is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in just 4.5 seconds onto a top speed of 183 MPH. The seller adds that an oil and filter change was performed at approximately 87k miles, and preventative maintenance was performed on the Targa roof track in October of 2022. Additional records are provided in the CARFAX report.

This sale will include a clean title (lien)

@eomichael I can understand that, whom did you buy this one from? Private or dealer, I see they only owned it for two months.

  • eomichael (seller) 1 year, 4 monthsago

@Wonderbread only since September this year. If not for my recent 50th Anniversary 911 purchase a few weeks ago, I’d certainly be keeping her here.

It pains me to see this car. The reason is that I looked for this car for years. I wanted an '09 Targa 4S with PDK in either dark green or macadamia. I know how awesome the last Mezger turbos are, but to me, this is peak 997.

Less than two weeks ago, I bought a 991.2 Turbo S. I know this sounds silly, but this car scratches an entirely different itch. I truly wish I had money and space for both. If I hadn't made that purchase, I almost certainly would be taking a run at this.

What a Beautiful color and super rare production numbers. Pcar bidders the owner Ethan is a straight up honest Porsche enthusiast. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks back when he bought my 2014 Porsche 50th Anniversary edition 911.

  • eomichael (seller) 1 year, 4 monthsago

@Garrityi No codes or any errors whatsoever. I did replace the front driver auto leveling headlight sensor bracket when I first purchased the vehicle which took care of the only code I've seen since my ownership. The car is an absolute joy to drive and frankly to look at. The Macadamia Metallic paint in the sun is stunning IMO. Thanks.

@Pcajiri . Thank you for your question. The lien is with a national credit union. They have branch offices available for walk-in appointments where the Buyer and I can go together and pay off the Note. The Buyer will receive the Title in their name within about 2-3 weeks. If the Buyer is not able to come in person, I will provide the Buyer with a pay-off quote in writing from the credit union along with a written request to the lender to issue the Title in Buyer's name. Third option, if the Buyer is comfortable in transferring the fuds to my bank, I will pay-off the note directly and thereafter Fed-Ex the Title to the Buyer. In the interim, upon clearance of the Buyer's funds through either of the above options, I will agree to release the Vehicle along with a Bill of Sale. Thanks.

Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my beautiful Targa 4S. I absolutely adore this car and have enjoyed it immensely in our short time together. I recently purchased a 50th Anniversary 911 right here on Pcarmarket and thus the reason for this sale. I look forward to regularly monitoring the process and will be available to respond timely to all questions/comments. Thank you again and bid with confidence.
