Now up for auction is this 2009 Porsche 987.2 Boxster S finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior. The second-generation Porsche 987 was revised with updated styling, a redesigned PCM system, new direct fuel-injected engines, and the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This 2009 example was ordered with adaptive Bi-Xenon headlights, the Bose High-End Sound System, heated front seats, and 19” Carrera S II wheels. Having remained under the care of its original owner in Florida, this Boxster S has been sparingly enjoyed and is now being offered for auction with approximately 8k miles showing on the odometer.
This Boxster S comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic. Changes for the second-generation 987 include new headlights and taillights, larger front air intakes with integrated daytime running lights, and a redesigned rear apron with diffusers on either side of the center exhaust outlet. The car has spent its life in a climate-controlled garage and the finish is described to be all original. The only noted imperfection is a very small blemish on the right side of the rear bumper cover, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. This Boxster S rides on optional 19” Carrera S II wheels dressed in their original Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Inside, this 987.2 features a black standard leather interior with heated seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and touchscreen Porsche Communication Management 3.0 (PCM 3.0) with extended navigation. The driver is also supplied with a Bluetooth phone interface, universal audio interface, XM radio, dynamic-cornering Bi-Xenon headlights, and a removable cabin wind deflector.
This second-generation 987 Boxster S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-six engine featuring direct fuel injection and an output of up to 310 HP and 265 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a rapid 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, which allows the Boxster S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in under 5 seconds with a top speed of approximately 170 MPH. Routine oil changes are said to have been performed throughout the lifetime of the vehicle and CARFAX shows service to have been carried out exclusively through the original selling Porsche dealership.

Hi,In the last few years it did not have yearly oil changes as it was in a climate controlled garage. Hence the very low miles.Car will be due for an oil change. Thank You.
Thru years 2015 thru 2021 their does not appear to have had any maintenance done. We’re oil and filter changes performed yearly?
Seller: Hi, that is not dirt near the shifter or the scuffs near sill plates are real from getting in and out of the car.I think the plastic pieces can be replaced at a minimal cost. Car is available for an in person viewing for anyone who would like to see the car in person in southwest Florida.Thank You.
Hi @Daisy2013 -- love the Boxster and the car body is overall in good shape but there may be some delamination near the shifter (pics 39 + 41) and scuffs on the plastic near the passenger (pic 46; which looks worse) driver-side footwell (pic 23).
Curious if that is permanent or just dust/dirt? If is the latter, can you please wipe off and post updated pictures?
