The 2009 model year introduced the updated Porsche 987.2 generation Boxster featuring a larger new engine with direct fuel injection and the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This 2009 Porsche Boxster is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black interior and comes optioned with illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel, painted interior trim and roll bars, seatbelts in Silver, Sound Package Plus, heated front seats, and 18” Boxster S II wheels. It has also been upgraded with a new Alpine stereo, amplifier, and speakers as well as a Soul cat-back exhaust system. This Boxster was acquired by the seller from its original owner in 2022 and is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 14k miles on the odometer.
Compared to the original 987, the 987.2 Boxster received updated styling including new headlights and taillights, larger front air intakes with integrated daytime running lights, and twin rear diffusers flanking the center exhaust outlet. This 2009 example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black convertible top and features optional painted roll bars, a speed-activated rear spoiler, aftermarket LED taillights, gloss-black side air intakes, dual Soul exhaust tips, and factory optioned 18” Boxster S II wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The car rides on Bridgestone tires dated from 2021. The seller notes the exterior has been treated with ceramic coating and one scratch is present above the left side air intake grille. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black standard leather interior comes with optional heated front seats as well as Arctic Silver Metallic painted trim pieces, seatbelts in Silver, and illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel. The seller notes a new Alpine stereo system has been installed along with an amplifier and upgraded speakers.
Rated at 252 HP, the naturally aspirated 2.9-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed PDK transmission. An upgraded Soul cat-back exhaust system has been installed for increased sound and performance. The seller notes that all service has been kept up to date by an authorized Porsche dealership and corresponding maintenance records will accompany the sale.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, a car cover, service records, two keys, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I have owned this car for a year. It was bought locally with 10500 miles, and it is stored in my climate-controlled shop under a cover. All maintenance is up to date. I have only added a Soul exhaust and Alpine stereo. The car is stock and in excellent condition. The tires are two years old, and the battery is also two years old. The vehicle just does not get driven enough so needs to go to someone that will appreciate the car.”

@fwoggy Car was bought here in California so it met smog. I put a cat back exhaust system on so no issues with that. Car has no check engine lights and exhaust was installed by a certified Soul exhaust shop.

I live outside of California; can you tell me what is different about the emission system for this California Boxster compared to non California Boxsters?
@Rowej I don’t have the tail lights sold them. I have all receipts including stereo and exhaust.
Do you have the original taillights and receipts for the exhaust and stereo installation? Thanks James
