With approximately 23k miles showing on the odometer, this road-going track car is now being offered by its seller out of Florida.

This second-generation 987 can be distinguished from older models by its updated LED lighting, larger front air intakes, and revised rear fascia. This Cayman S rides on a set of factory 19” Carrera S II wheels that are currently dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (the OZ wheels pictured will not accompany the sale).
Inside, the cabin has been fitted with Cobra racing bucket seats featuring a Halo system for the driver as well as GMG seat brackets, Schroth safety belts, and a harness bar. An OMP flat-bottom racing steering wheel has also been installed along with an upgraded accelerator pedal, Cool Shirt system, Smarty Cam, and AiM Sports MXL2 digital dash and data logger. The factory automatic climate control system has been retained and equipped with extra ducting for the driver’s helmet. Power comes from a mid-mounted 3.4L naturally aspirated flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels. A blip-shift system has been installed along with an additional third radiator, upgraded coil-over suspension, billet GT3-style adjustable lower control arms, upgraded sway bars, adjustable drop links, a GT3 master cylinder, and a Brembo front big brake kit including upgraded calipers and full-floating rotors. Well over $5k is said to have been invested in the braking system alone. The car has seen limited track use by the seller and is reported to have been routinely serviced under their ownership.
This sale will include a clean title. A highly competitive 987 Cayman S that can be driven to and from the track, this low mileage 2009 example offers a fantastic opportunity.
