Constructed around a lightweight aluminum monocoque, the mid-engine R8 has served as Audi’s flagship sports car since its introduction in 2006. This 2010 4.2L V8-equipped example was first delivered to Gerald Jones Audi/VW of Augusta, Georgia, and was ordered in Ice Silver Metallic over a Black Nappa leather interior. It was optioned with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, Oxygen Silver side blades, Carbon Fiber Sigma engine compartment inlays, Audi navigation system plus, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and 19” polished five-arm double-spoke forged aluminum alloy wheels. Showing just over 13k miles on the odometer, this Audi R8 4.2 Quattro is now being offered at auction by its seller out of North Carolina.
The exterior is finished in Ice Silver Metallic (LX7W) with optional Oxygen Silver side blades. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, a transparent engine cover, power-adjustable heated door mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators, a speed-activated rear spoiler, an R8-branded aluminum fuel cap, black brake calipers with white R8 logos, and quad polished exhaust finishers. The hood is preserved under Xpel Ultimate paint protection film and the entire body has been Teflon coated. The optional 19” polished five-arm double-spoke forged aluminum alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P-Zero tires from 2019. The cabin features 10-way power-adjustable heated seats trimmed in Black Nappa leather upholstery which extends to the dashboard, door panels, and instrument cowl. Amenities include automatic climate control, a Driver Information System display with an onboard computer, cruise control, R8 branded door sill guards, an auto-dimming interior mirror with compass, the optional Audi MMI navigation system, an optional Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, a gated 6-speed manual shifter, aluminum pedals, and a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel.
Highlighted by optional carbon fiber Sigma inlays, the 4.2L FSI V8 engine is factory rated at 430 HP and 316 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system and a 6-speed manual transmission which allows acceleration from 0-60 MPH in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 187 MPH. Performance features include the Audi Magnetic Ride adaptive damping system, Servotronic electromechanical steering, 8-piston front brake calipers and 4-piston rears, and electronic stability control. A Fabspeed exhaust system has been fitted under current ownership. The seller reports the vehicle has been regularly serviced by a specialty mechanic and has received a new battery, a new actuator for the engine cover release, and an oil change completed in preparation for the sale.

Hi, does the car have any paint work on it?
Do you know if the frame around the front suspension points was reinforced at the factory (or afterward) on this car? Pre-2010 did not have this reinforcement, post-2010 vehicles did, but apparently it is impossible to tell on model year 2010 if this has been done or not without visual inspection.
For reference, there is a 22k mile V10 on BAT being auctioned currently (also 3 days remaining) which has detailed photographs of these reinforcements. The plastic cowel under the windshield wipers needs to be removed for access. Are you able to provide similar photos to verify?
