Representing the launch year of the fourth-generation E-Class (W212), this 2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG was offered as the most high-performance model in its class featuring the same 6.2-liter V8 powertrain as the SL63 AMG Roadster. It comes finished in Black over a Beige leather interior and was acquired by the previous owner as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in California prior to the seller’s acquisition in 2022. Benefitting from some notable recent service items, this E63 AMG is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado while showing approximately 65k miles on the odometer.
Compared to the standard E-Class, the E63 AMG includes wider front wheel arches, side skirts, and aggressive bumpers with a front spoiler and larger air intakes. This example is finished in Black and rides on factory 18” AMG alloy wheels dressed in Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires. The seller notes the rear bumper was refinished to address minor damage and some swirl marks are present on the paint. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor rear-end damage to have occurred in 2016.
The Beige leather interior is accented by black ash tree wood trim pieces and features dynamic climate-controlled front seats with memory, an electric rear window blind, Keyless-Go entry, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The driver is also provided with automatic climate control, a premium sound system, blind spot assistant, lane-keep assistant, parking guidance, a rearview camera, Distronic Plus cruise control, and a sliding panoramic glass sunroof. The seller notes wear on the driver’s seat bolster and a small bubble in one of the steering wheel control buttons.
Producing up to 518 HP and 465 lb.-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 engine drives the rear wheels through a Speedshift MCT 7-speed automatic transmission. The E63 receives AMG-tuned performance suspension, a limited-slip differential, and a reprogrammed top-speed limiter (186 MPH) compared to a standard E-Class sedan. Recent maintenance is said to include new brake fluid, spark plugs, and fuel injector cleaning at 60,500 miles as well as an oil change and voltage regulator replacement at 62k miles. Since the last oil change at 62k I’ve never gotten a oil top up reminder, so I believe oil consumption is very low. And I don’t believe there’s any leaks, no stains on the ground and no leaks at the time of the last service.
Jinye, please advise oil consumption during the duration of your ownership. As you don't have any undercarriage photos, please advise status of leaks, e.g., back seal, tranny, etc. Any way you can have your service tech take a look in the remaining time of the auction? Thanks...

@gearsandbeers Currently the car will only come with the winter tires because the summers are low on tread. If the auction goes well though, I may consider throwing in a set of summers, no promises though ;)

I forgot to mention that this vehicle is a former Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle and it has enjoyed Mercedes extended warranty coverage through 2017, Century Warranty Service Millennial Plus Plan coverage through July 2022, and Zurich Shield vehicle protection plan through 2020.

@Nikolanzi Thanks for the comment! Although I don’t know the specifics of the incident. I do believe it’s just a scrape or a minor single party incident as CARFAX did not report an collision only the damage. I have a copy of the original repair receipt that I can upload which shows the rear bumper cover refinish without repairs to anything else.
@JakeH Thanks for the comment Jake! Yes the M156 engine is a legendary engine that’s been put in so many different chassis’s until 2015. It stands as one of the only engines developed completely in-house by AMG, originally for motorsport purposes, and not modified from a regular Mercedes engine.
Do you have any more details about the minor rear end damage on the Carfax?

There are many stories written about this M156 engine that was eventually changed in 2011 and I think only used on the C63. An amazing hand built engine with some great and a few not so great things to consider.

Good evening the PCM community! I am proud to present you this beautiful 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG. I purchased this vehicle in August of last year in California. The vehicle was shipped to Colorado where it became my daily driver. I absolutely loved this car for its balance of elegance and its brutal power. For a vast majority of the time, this car is quiet and comfortable. The suspension offers a superb ride quality while the driver is cacooned in a suite of luxury. On the road, the active seat bolsters keep the driver in place around corners without sacrificing the comfort in the straights, while the heated, cooled, and massaging options keeps you relaxed and comfortable all day long. The optional DISTRONIC PLUS adaptive cruise control lets you keep your foot off the pedals in traffic while it intelligently brakes and accelerate according to the flow. Meanwhile, the blind spot detection and lane departure warning ensures your safety on the road. However, when the time comes, and you put your pedal down, the car transforms into a ferocious 518-hp German muscle machine. The racing-derived 6.2L V8 propels the car into warp speed while the AMG Speedshift, though not as fast as a PDK, goes through each gear in the blink of an eye and keeps the adrenaline pumping. The 3-level adjustable ESP keeps the car on the road while the 3-level adjustable sport suspension turns the 4000-lb E-class into a surprisingly well-handling backroads ballerina. This E63 has a custom-fabricated H-pipe in place of the resonator, which helps bring out some of the beautiful roar of the M156 V8 under load while staying subtle and elegant during normal driving, as shown in the video.
