Up for auction is this 2010 Porsche 997.2 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Black over a Sand Beige interior. The second generation of Porsche’s 997 Carrera was debuted with a more powerful direct fuel injected flat-six engine and the option of a new 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This 2010 example was ordered with illuminated stainless steel door entry guards along with Porsche crested headrests, heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats, self-dimming mirrors, and other desirable amenities. Also featuring a custom upgraded sound system, this Carrera is now being offered for auction by its third owner out of North Carolina with approximately 41k miles showing on the odometer.
This 997.2 comes finished in nonmetallic Black with a matching cabriolet soft top and custom red-painted brake calipers. The car is said to have spent much of its life garage-kept and the seller reports only a few small touched-up imperfections on the hood, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The factory 19” Carrera IV wheels feature optional colored Porsche crest center caps and come dressed in a set of Continental ExtremeContact tires dated from 2017.
The Sand Beige interior comes equipped with heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats featuring driver memory settings and Exclusive Porsche crested headrests. The entranceways are highlighted by optional illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel. The sound system has been upgraded with a touchscreen Pioneer head unit and Focal speakers. The original PCM and audio components are said to accompany the sale.
This second-generation 997 Carrera is equipped with a direct fuel injected 3.6L flat-six engine rated at 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a rapid-shifting 7-speed PDK transmission, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.7 seconds. Records show major 20k and 40k-mile services to have been addressed, the latter of which was completed by European Performance, Inc. in May of 2020 at just over 39k miles. Corresponding invoices are provided in the gallery.

@ralex17 thanks for your question. The date code is 1717 or the 17th week of 2017. I don't have a depth gauge but if you use the trick of the Lincoln penny the tread depth covers between 1/3rd and 1/2 of Lincoln's head so plenty of wear left.

@virafp thanks for your question. I can confirm I have made no smog modifications under my ownership. I also have yearly NC state inspection passing records with the latest being in May 2021.
