Up for auction is this 2010 Porsche 997 Carrera S finished in Dark Blue Metallic over a Sand Beige interior. The second generation of the Porsche 997 debuted more powerful engines with direct fuel injection as well as a revised suspension, redesigned bumpers, a new PCM system, and LED lighting. This 2010 example features a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and heated front seats as well as tasteful upgrades including H&R lowering springs, a Tubi exhaust, Fabspeed air intake, short-throw shifter, and painted interior trim. Having undergone a recent service at an authorized Porsche dealer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its owner out of California with approximately 18k miles showing on the odometer.
This 997.2 comes finished in Dark Blue Metallic and features a custom painted rear model designation along with colored Porsche-crested center caps fitted on aftermarket 19” wheels. The seller reports minimal signs of road-going wear, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The wheels are currently dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires dated from 2017.
Inside, you will find a Sand Beige standard leather interior with heated and power-operated comfort seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, self-dimming mirrors, and PCM system with XM radio, Bluetooth, and a Universal Audio Interface. A short-throw shifter has been installed as well as aluminum pedal covers, an Alcantara handbrake cover, and a custom thickened three-spoke steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara. This second-generation 997 Carrera S carries a direct fuel injected 3.8L flat-six engine rated at 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque stock. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission providing a 0-60 time of approximately 4.5 seconds and a top speed of nearly 190 MPH. The suspension has been lowered with H&R springs and an upgraded Fabspeed carbon fiber air intake and Tubi exhaust system have been installed for increased sound and power output. The seller notes that an oil and filter service has been recently carried out by an authorized Porsche dealer, and there are no outstanding maintenance items reported at this time.

@Silver930 The car does not have any PPF or any type of clear film. The paint is so mint that I would highly recommend it for the next custodian.

@WilliePat I had an interested party that was local come see the car last week. He commented “showroom”.
There are a few superficial imperfections on the front of the car from the few miles it has.
It really is a showroom car. Zero dings, dents, etc. paint is like a mirror. Dark blue metallic is difficult to photograph. This car will exceed expectations for the most discriminating aficionado. Literally, a garage queen.

Pretty sure I owned this car from 8K to 12K miles. Fantastic car and very fast. Another expensive option are those Champion wheels. Tubi exhaust is very loud and not adjustable. I liked it but my wife did not. The color combination is the best.

@gshibayama I had the car at my second home in Oregon. Since it is remote there, I had it brought down to socal to facilitate the sale.
