The 2010 model year saw the introduction of the updated 997.2 generation 911 Turbo featuring a larger 3.8-liter flat-six engine with direct fuel injection as well as a new 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. This 2010 Coupe is finished in Black over a matching full leather interior and came factory optioned with a PDK transmission, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), center-lock wheels, and Sport Chrono Package Turbo. It has also been modified with a carbon fiber sunroof delete roof conversion, Aerokit rear spoiler, GT2 carbon fiber bucket seats, OZ Racing wheels, a BBI high-flow exhaust system, aluminum CSF radiators, an ECU tune, and an upgraded suspension with Moton coilovers and Tarett Engineering components. Showing approximately 16k miles on the odometer and boasting over $35k in professionally installed upgrades, this Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Arizona.

This 911 Turbo Coupe is finished in Black and was converted with a GT2 carbon fiber roof panel with Alcantara headliner after delivery to the original owner. It has also been modified with an OEM Aerokit rear spoiler, clear Euro-spec side marker lenses, a rear model designation delete, and 19” OZ Racing Ultraleggera wheels featuring red center-lock rings. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires that were reportedly mounted within the last 3k miles. An additional set of OZ Racing CL wheels with Toyo Proxes tires is also available to the next owner. The seller notes the car has always been garage-kept, a few small stone chips are present, and it has been used for three autocross events during their ownership. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor front-end damage in 2017.

The Black full leather interior has been outfitted with a pair of GT2 carbon fiber bucket seats along with remote reservoirs for the Moton coilovers mounted on the rear shelf. Factory options include Dynamic Cornering Lights, a Bluetooth phone interface, an XM Radio receiver, and a Sport steering wheel with shift paddles. A lap timer stopwatch is also mounted on the center of the dashboard as part of the Sport Chrono Package. The seller adds the rear seats have never been used and the factory plastic floor liner remains in place in the passenger footwell.

The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine was rated at 500 HP and 480 lb.-ft of torque and drives all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission with an optional Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) differential. The optional Sport Chrono Package enables a stock 0-60 time of approximately 3.2 seconds. This 997.2 has been further upgraded with a BBI Autosport high-flow stainless-steel exhaust system, HD series HJS cats, and an ECU tune for increased power. It features upgraded slotted brake rotors and a Cup-style suspension with Moton double-adjustable dampers, HyperCo main springs, Swift helper springs, front camber plates with monoballs, upgraded rear strut tops & camber plates, front & rear toe links, front & rear drop links, and adjustable spherical rear upper control arms. The seller notes the engine upgrades and suspension were installed upon delivery at BBI Autosport in 2010, and the suspension was set up by renowned expert Joey Seely. Upgraded aluminum CSF dual-row radiators were also installed in 2022 along with a coolant flush, oil change, new filters, and a complete inspection. There are no outstanding service items reported and a collection of maintenance records is said to accompany the sale.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, some documentation, and a clean title.

So not aftermarket parts. Post manufacture install if you wanted a US car.

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

Read down the comments I have a paragraph.. Sunroof delete was not an option in 997s USA cars. Factory parts after delivery to the states or import ROW delete car post delivery elsewhere.

@Carstuff1969 I am active in the Porsche community and come across a lot of DDs. I was actually thinking the same since this is too nice to beat up. PM me if there is such a thing here. I'll keep in touch.

@997_Turbo I get the missing 3rd pedal, Especially for slower and older cars, but for a car this wild, OMG is PDK fun! Feels like a video game especially compared to the old auto transmission in the 997.1.

@Notthd she's a pretty one. At the current pace, reserve may not be met, even if she deserves it. I'm looking for a daily driver and she's too nice for that though.

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

Your missing nothing. Dare I say the car is as close to new as a 13 year old car can be and not sitting in a museum. It's been well taken care of. All very reputable Porsche community shops with the upgrades and factory service along the way. No mechanical failures, rebuilds or accidents.

Maybe it needs to be beat up by the next owner more LOL

  • SFPirate (registered bidder) 1 yearago

@Carstuff1969 You called it. Founders area and Sat car. When do you want it delivered LOL?

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

@raidersfan Yes it's Darth's car. Still as built when new with the additions of OZ racing wheels sets and CSF Alum radiators all around.

  • raidersfan (registered bidder) 1 yearago

Is Darth the previous owner? Wow, gorgeous! I wish I was in the market. Wanna trade for a track-built 2014 Cayman S w/buckets plus cash?

Seriously though, I love it and hope it goes to a good home.

  • Carstuff1969 (registered bidder) 1 yearago

I live near Founder's Park and know every location of your video shoots. I haven't seen the car much on the roads so I'm guessing it's a Saturday morning car. GLWTA.

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

Spoke with BBI this morning. They do not keep specific tuning data. The older cars such as this 2010 would not have Cob style programs that can be uploaded at will, as everyone may already know, therefore there is no tune of record. I was told it would have been tuned and pass emissions. It was in June of 2010. The older ECUs also do not automatically trigger a "Cali Fail" like newer cars do. I was also told BBI or M Engineering in AZ would have no issue checking the tune and changing it if someone wanted to tinker. Hope this was helpful. Thank you for looking.

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

I do not know what tune is in it but may be able to contact BBI Autosport that installed the exhaust, suspension etc. and research. Not sure they keep records of what it is since it is not a packaged tune similar to the 996s and 997.1s "1050hp tune" and "750hp tune some offered" and was in my understanding specific to the car and equipment. It is not difficult or expensive to reflash to stock if that is what the concern is. It will pass emissions the previous owner has stated. Thank you for looking.

Understand PPF now LOL. No the car does not have any but it does have color matched rock guards on the quarters up to the intercoolers as you would expect. The car has performance cats t to pass emissions and was tuned in Huntington Beach. I was told it will pass emissions. I have had two other turbos that did pass with a tune but it needs to be intentionally programed with this in mind. Also it is my experience that the 997.1s are more vulnerable to emission failures after a tune than the 997.2 depending on what has been done. I hope this is helpful. Thank you for the clarity on PPF and interest.

PPF=Paint Protection Film. Back to my first question, can the ECU tune be reversed and reinstalled? ECU tune immediately fails CA (and many other state's) smog. What tune is it?

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

The Car does not have two keys. There are zero major exterior paint defects. There are very small almost undetectable chips on the intercooler intakes and on the mirrors. The interior has no wear. the drivers side entry bolster shows sign of use as seen in the pictures. No PPI is included in the sale. PPF?

  • ttsmith58 (registered bidder) 1 yearago

Does it come with 2 keys?
Can you highlight any major exterior paint defects and interior wear?
    Is there any PPF?

Will shoot some this afternoon PST when I get back to the house.

  • Jpara98 (registered bidder) 1 yearago

how about a few detailed pics of the interior and exterior roof?

  • 997_Turbo (registered bidder) 1 yearago

One of the cleanest and nicest 997 turbos I’ve seen. Almost perfect with the exception of the 3rd pedal.

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

Side note on roof trivia. All US models came standard on 997 turbos. M650 "electric sliding roof" option is standard for US cars and would not appear on the build sheet because it is standard. Option 652 "without tilting / sliding roof" was allowed in the US on 996s but not on 997s. The only choice was to have it installed stateside to the tune of $8K or import a post delivered ROW car. For factory parts it is my understanding only the the black Alcantara headliner from a GT2 RS or GT3 RS would fit. Imagine how hard it would be to find that as a part on the shelf. Not speaking from a place of absolute authority but from my research when I bought the car and and speaking to the original owner who took delivery of the her.

Hope this is useful info. Thank you all for looking and the dialog.

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

    nhebert13,
The details of the roof are the original owner ordered the car as sunroof delete but with the back log of the 2010s, delivery time to receive it could not be guaranteed. The solution was to have the roof installed after the car was stateside. The roof is a Porsche GT2 RS factory panel and headliner. I hope this helps.

  • Notthd (seller) 1 yearago

Jvuong, I have not smoged the car but with the exhaust, the cats were installed to be able to allow it to pass.

  • jvuong (registered bidder) 1 yearago

Do you know if this will pass CA Smog?

  • SFPirate (registered bidder) 1 yearago

Take all my money! This thing is perfect!

  • Kylejames_13 1 yearago

Bid in the amount of $911

  • nhebert13 1 yearago

I am sad to see that this is in fact an aftermarket roof replacement and not a factory sunroof delete option. Still cool, I still want it, but that was definitely misleading.

  • ltcjmramos (registered bidder) 1 yearago

Are the OE cats included? Can the ECU tune be uninstalled for emissions testing, and reinstalled after?
