Available for auction at no reserve is this 2010 Porsche 997.2 Turbo Cabriolet finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over a Carrera Red Natural Leather interior. The second-generation 997 Turbo debuted at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show featuring a larger engine with direct fuel injection as well as the option of a lightning-quick 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. This launch-year example comes equipped with an array of desirable factory options including heated and ventilated seats, a painted rear center console, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), and the Sport Chrono Package Turbo. It is now being offered for auction at no reserve by its seller out of Massachusetts, while showing approximately 15k miles on the odometer.

Visual updates for the second-generation 997 include larger side-view mirrors, new LED tail lights and daytime running lights, and Turbo specific details include widened fenders with rear side air intakes, revised bumpers, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. This example comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic with a black cabriolet top and is equipped with optional Dynamic Cornering Lights. It rides on a set of  factory 19” Turbo II wheels with colored Porsche center crests. These wheels have been dressed in a set of Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires bearing date codes from 2019. The cabin is appointed with premium Carrera Red Natural Leather upholstery which is reported to be in excellent condition with all gauges and accessories working properly. For the second iteration of the 997 Turbo model, a new twin-turbocharged flat-six engine was introduced with direct fuel injection, variable turbine geometry (VTG), and an increased displacement of 3.8L. As much as 500 HP and 480 lb.-ft of torque are sent to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed PDK transmission. Equipped with the Sport Chrono Package, this Turbo Cabriolet can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.2 seconds. The optional Porsche Torque Vectoring system (PTV) actively enhances vehicle dynamics and stability by mechanically regulating the rear limited-slip differential. The CARFAX includes 24 service history records dating back as far as 2010. The car was reportedly treated to new brakes, tires, and fresh fluids before being acquired by the seller.
