Now up for auction is this 2010 Porsche 987.2 Boxster S finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior. This 2010 example comes equipped with a host of desirable factory options as well as several high-quality upgrades including TechArt wheels, a Cargraphic cat-back exhaust system, and a TPC Racing Stage 2 suspension. It was acquired by the seller from its original owner in 2020 at 15k miles and is now being offered for auction out of Hawaii while showing just over 20,500 miles on the odometer.
This Boxster S comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black retractable soft top. As part of the mid-cycle update, the 987.2 featured new headlights and LED taillights, larger front air intakes with incorporated daytime running lights, and a revised lower rear fascia with twin diffusers. Xpel paint protection film covers the front bumper, partial hood and fenders, mirror covers, and door edges. Scuff protection plates have also been installed under the front bumper and a red-colored “S” logo has been added to the rear. Other customizations include clear side markers lenses, black painted side vents, and a Rennline billet front license plate mount. The seller notes a scuff under the front bumper on the passenger side. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This Boxster S rides on a set of upgraded 19” TechArt Formula light-alloy wheels dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires which were installed about one year ago within the last 2k miles.
Inside, you will find a black interior with factory Exclusive deviated red carpeting, Guards Red seatbelts, and leather Sport Seats which have been preserved under custom grey fabric covers. Genuine Porsche all-weather floor mats have been added along with a Rennline adjustable height gas pedal extension, and a PSM shutoff switch on the driver’s side of the central tunnel. Factory features include heated front seats, automatic climate control, a Bluetooth interface for mobile phones, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Universal Audio Interface, self-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, and Bi-Xenon headlights with Dynamic Cornering. Some scuff marks are noted on the driver’s doorsill and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly. The original red carpet mats will accompany the sale along with the grey seat covers and a Porsche sunshade.
This second-generation 987 Boxster S is equipped with a direct fuel injected 3.4L flat-six engine that sends as much as 310 HP and 265 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Performance upgrades include a Cargraphic cat-back exhaust system, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, EBC Red brake pads, ATE high-temperature brake fluid, and a TPC Racing Stage 2 suspension with 29/21 mm adjustable sway bars, rear toe links, and Eibach Pro springs. The seller notes that a 20k mile service was carried out under their ownership including new spark plugs, an oil and filter change, new cabin and engine air filters, a coolant and brake fluid flush, and a performance wheel alignment.

For those of you wanting more information on the shipping here’s how it works. Once the car arrives on the mainland you normally have about five days to pick it up. All you have to do is either get it yourself or arrange for a transporter to pick it up for you. The transporter can verify the survey as far as making sure that the car is in the same condition that it left in, the surveys are very detailed. It’s easy to arrange for pick up with most nationwide carriers …:)

The car is not in Honolulu, it is on Maui. If somebody wanted to pay for a PPI my guess it would be $150-$200

The shipping company does a survey on the car and you can check it to match when it’s unloaded in San Diego but your normal insurance would cover any damage and I would suggest that whoever ends up with the car has it insured before it leaves Maui
