This 2011 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Carbon Black Edition is finished in Carbon Black Metallic over an Obsidian Black leather and Alcantara interior. In addition to the signature V12 engine, the Carbon Black Edition equips this Vantage with a bespoke paint scheme, 10-spoke diamond-turned wheels, carbon fiber side strakes, a highly sought-after manual transmission and much more. Routinely serviced and accompanied by extensive documentation, this V12 Vantage is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado showing approximately 14k miles on the odometer.

This V12 Vantage is finished in a unique Carbon Black Metallic paint, which Aston Martin claimed to have been hand-applied and rigorously checked over a period of 50 hours for each car. It rides on 19" 10-spoke diamond-turned wheels with a gloss black finish and Bridgestone tires from 2018. Exterior features include hood vents, a carbon fiber front splitter, a rear diffuser, swan-hinged doors, and dual exhaust outlets. Additional Carbon Black Edition-exclusive details include carbon fiber side vents with black mesh inserts along with a bright-finished grille. The seller notes that the rear bumper was scuffed and repainted and a clear bra was applied under previous ownership. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The interior is upholstered in Obsidian Black leather and Alcantara accents and contrasting silver stitching. Equipment includes electric sports seats, automatic temperature control, cruise control, Bluetooth and carbon fiber door pulls. Additional Carbon Black Edition details include piano black center console trim, anodized black tread plates, unique sill plaques, and front and rear parking sensors. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.

This Vantage is equipped with a 5.9-liter DOHC V12 engine that produces up to 510 HP and 420 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-62 MPH takes place in 4.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 190 MPH. Performance features include rack and pinion steering, front and rear double wishbone suspension, six-piston front carbon ceramic brakes, four-piston rear carbon ceramic rear brakes, DSC, ABS, traction control, electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), and emergency brake assist (EBA). The seller states that routine services were carried out by an authorized dealer and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.

This sale will include a clean title, toolkit, car cover, and owner’s manuals.

The seller would like you to know:  "This Carbon Black Edition is a well-cared-for example that has been covered by an extended comprehensive factory warranty up until a few weeks ago. This is a great chance to get into the last of the naturally aspirated 6-speed manual V12 Aston Martins."

Glad to see the bids moving up. Remember, this is NOT a semi-automatic, but a real, factory manual 6-speed.

With the release of the new DB12.....with its oversized gaping front grill and no V12 option (only Merc V8), these naturally aspirated V12 Aston Martins with classically proportioned front grills should really be taking off in price soon!

  • FarlandClassic (seller) 11 monthsago

@rown4au - You are correct. The current owner negotiated the deal following the BaT auction. The Aston sold above the price listed on BaT. Looking through the comment section, you will see the owner met the car at the port of Long Beach and drove the V12 Aston over 1,000 miles back to Colorado.

  • rown4au (registered bidder) 11 monthsago

Looking at the car fax I suspect this is the car that didn't meet reserve on BAT at $128k in April 2022. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2011-aston-martin-v12-vantage-carbon-black-edition-4/

Looks like the Hawaii owner made a deal after the auction to sell.

Responding to the question about the Aston's travels, it was sold new in Texas, went from there to a dealer in California who sold it to Colorado (the first time). Following CO, it moved to Oregon and then to another dealer in California. The Hawaii owner bought it there and had it sent to the islands. Following his tenure, he sold the car directly to the current Colorado owner for whom we are representing it. An enthusiast seeking a car as unique as a 6-speed Vantage will buy it where he finds it, and California naturally has many exotic car dealers who resell anywhere. Someone in Hawaii is very likely to shop in California, since how many Vantages are going to be in the Islands? Exotic car ownership there carries with it the inevitability of having to ship in a special car and again few buyers there will necessitate shipping it back to the mainland at sale time. Many exotic car buffs like to experience one that captures their fancy and then move on to the next fun car on their list--they rarely buy to own for an extended period and need to sell the one they have in order to move on to the next. It's a great lifestyle and sure to generate lots of wonderful experiences! Hopefully a 6-speed Vantage is the next one on YOUR bucket list.

Fantastic car! But can you help me understand how in one year the car goes from Cali to Hawaii to Cali to Hawaii to Washington to Colorado to Hawaii to Colorado? Don't get me wrong, I love this car and will probably bid. But I'm scratching my head just a bit.
By the way, I lived in Kaneohe for 4 years and would go back tomorrow.
