Introduced in 2011 as a limited-edition performance version of the E82 1-Series, the 1-Series M Coupe features a 340 HP twin-turbocharged inline-six, a 6-speed manual gearbox, and widened bodywork as well as brakes, suspension, and a differential borrowed from the E92 M3. Limited to just 983 units for North America and sold for one model year only, this 2011 example is one of 222 finished in Black Sapphire Metallic. It offers the Premium Package, Convenience Package, an aftermarket Akropovic exhaust, and full Suntech paint protection film. Showing just under 22k miles on the odometer, this rare 1M is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
The exterior is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic, one of only 3 colors offered for this model. The 1M coupe can be distinguished from a standard E82 1-Series by its widened fenders, aerodynamic wing mirrors, specially designed front apron, high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, quad exhaust tips, and rear decklid spoiler. It rides on factory 19” staggered-width BMW Style 359 light-alloy wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2019. The seller adds that wheel spacers have been fitted and Suntech paint protection film covers the entire vehicle. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with black Boston leather upholstery featuring orange contrast stitching and Alcantara trim along the dashboard and door panels. The equipment includes manually adjustable sports seats, automatic climate control, adaptive xenon headlights, a Harmon Kardon surround sound system, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and cruise control. The optional Premium Package adds auto-dimming mirrors, power front seats, ambient lighting, BMW Assist w/Bluetooth, and a USB adapter, along with the Convenience Package which includes an anti-theft alarm system, Comfort Access keyless entry, Park Distance Control (rear), and navigation system.
The 1M Coupe is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter N54 inline-six engine shared with the Z4 sDrive 35iS, producing up to 335 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque, with an over-boost function allowing for an additional 37 lb.-ft of torque in short bursts. The rear wheels are driven by a 6-speed manual transmission and rear limited-slip differential borrowed from the E92 M3. The 1M can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 5 seconds, with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The suspension is also taken from the E92 M3, including the double-jointed front axle and five-link rear axle constructed from aluminum, in addition to the braking system, equipping cross-drilled and ventilated 360mm rotors with single-piston sliding calipers in the front, and single-piston calipers in the rear with 350mm cross-drilled and ventilated discs. An Akrapovic exhaust system has been installed, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 19 service history records including the antifreeze and brake fluid flushed/changed in August 2023.

I purchased a F car on P carmarket from Ambassador and they were a class act all the way and the car was 100% as described, would absolutely buy again.
I also have a 1M since I purchased it new and despite a handful of cars the laymen would think are much better drivers, the 1M, especially for a street car, is truly hard to beat, it is the most fun car you can buy to punch it around town and everything comes together in a superlative way.

Great to see my car again! I did the installation of the akrapovic exhaust and KW kit, kept and sold the car with all the stock parts along with the aftermarket ones, this 1M is in mint condition, I had it always garaged and never tracked it, GLWS!

@Zairegp Thanks for reaching out. Yes, all the original parts and everything in the photo gallery comes with the car. I think it might be hard to fit the exhaust in the car. Its length and width would probably make it very difficult. Most shippers that I have used and are happy to assist with, would take them outside the car if they were told in advance.
