We are pleased to present this outstanding 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero leather. Ferrari’s third “GTO” model, the 599 revives one of the marque’s most legendary designations reserved for only the most powerful high-performance vehicles.  It was first used on the legendary 250 GTO, a GT car that dominated racing in the 1960s and solidified Ferrari as one of the world’s premier sports car manufacturers. The most powerful car ever built by Ferrari at the time, the naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V12 under the hood of the 599 GTO produces over 660 HP. Advanced aerodynamics, carbon-ceramic brakes, a specially tuned suspension, and weight savings of over 200 pounds make the GTO a true race car for the road.  One of 599 examples ever produced and only 125 designated for North America, this collector-grade 599 GTO has been Ferrari Classiche Certified and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas with just under 1,800 miles showing on the odometer.

The 599 GTO is based on the 599 GTB Fiorano grand touring car, a Pininfarina-styled body with distinctive rear “flying buttresses” that were specially designed to maximize aerodynamics and high-speed downforce. The 599 GTO takes this design to another level with a carefully optimized aerodynamic package that includes a front spoiler with a separate lower wing and side sills that improve aerodynamic efficiency and brake cooling, along with a unique carbon fiber rear valance to keep the rear end planted on the road. The GTO offers a substantial increase in downforce compared to the 599 GTB Fiorano while reducing aerodynamic drag allowing for a higher top speed.  The GTO's aluminum body panels and windows are thinner than those used for the standard GTB, while its transmission, brake components, and exhaust system have been lightened to reduce overall weight by approximately 200 pounds. This Rosso Corsa example rides on 20" black forged wheels which are fastened with lightweight titanium lug nuts and mounted with original Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

The interior of this 599 GTO is upholstered in Nero leather with matching Alcantara seat inserts, red contrast stitching, and exposed carbon-fiber trim. The deeply bolstered Sabelt carbon-fiber bucket seats are equipped with power adjustment and red embroidered Cavallino Rampante Ferrari logos on the headrests. The GTO’s flat bottomed multi-function carbon-trimmed steering wheel features an LED tachometer as well as the Manettino switch which allows the driver to change performance characteristics while underway. Instrumentation includes a 220-MPH speedometer and a red 10,000 RPM tachometer.  The rear parcel deck is dressed in Nero leather upholstery with red contrast stitching, and a matching fire-extinguisher mount is located in the passenger footwell. The GTO’s heritage is celebrated with its dashboard-mounted “Ferrari 31 Formula 1 World Titles” plaque that features its individual chassis number. Another specialized plaque on the radio door reads “Limited 1 of 599”.

Under the hood, the 599 GTO is powered by a 6.0L naturally aspirated flat-plane crank V12 engine which is rated at 661 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque. Paired with a lightened 6-speed Ferrari F1 automated-manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels, the GTO can accelerate to 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3.3 seconds, while reaching a stop speed of over 200 MPH. The GTO features massive carbon-ceramic brakes by Brembo, adjustable magnetorheological dampers, and F1-Trac traction control. This 599 GTO is reported to be up to date on all scheduled maintenance with a recent full service performed in January of 2021. Records from the current owner are available dating back to 2013 showing routine service to have been carried out by Ferrari of Houston. Prior to then, CARFAX shows a number of services to have been carried out during the original ownership by Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta.

This sale will include a clean title, owner's books, a Ferrari Classiche Certification, service records, and a genuine Ferrari car cover. One of Ferrari’s most significant and collectible V12s of the modern era, this low mileage 599 GTO is a must-have for any world-class car collection.
