It is our pleasure to offer this 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG finished in AMG Le Mans Red Metallic over a Porcelain and Black Designo Exclusive Leather interior. The first supercar designed from the ground up by AMG, the SLS harkens back to the legendary 1954 300SL Gullwing with its distinctive design. Equipped with a hand-built 6.3L V8 producing over 560 HP, the SLS introduced the most powerful naturally-aspirated engine ever offered by Mercedes-Benz along with advanced forged aluminum suspension components, a carbon-fiber driveshaft, and lightweight aluminum chassis. This 2011 example has remained preserved as part of the original owner's collection and is now being offered for auction out of New York showing just over 1k miles on the odometer.
This SLS was ordered in the model-exclusive color of Le Mans Red Metallic (434) at an additional cost of $2,300. Created by senior Mercedes designer Mark Fetherston, the SLS features the iconic upward-swinging Gullwing doors of the 300SL as well as a large front grille and fender vents. The SLS is assembled almost entirely by hand with its aluminum bodywork and lightweight aluminum spaceframe chassis crafted by Magna Steyr in Graz, Austria. Other exterior features include a speed-sensitive automatically deploying rear wing, adaptive bi-xenon headlights, power-folding mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, privacy glass, and chrome-finished dual trapezoidal exhaust tips. A carbon fiber rear spoiler and mirror covers have been added by the current owner, and the original pieces are said to accompany the sale. The factory 19”/20” AMG Twin 5-Spoke light-alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ContiSportContact tires. The aeronautic-inspired cockpit features aluminum fittings, an Alcantara headliner, and power-adjustable heated seats trimmed in Porcelain and Black Designo Exclusive leather upholstery with a matching dashboard, center console, and door panels. The optional 11-speaker 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system was selected, and standard features include three-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, auto-dimming mirrors, Mercedes COMAND multimedia system with navigation and voice control, and iPod/MP3 functionality.
The SLS AMG features a hand-built 6.2L M159 V8 which produces up to 563 HP and 479 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 7-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission, a 40% locking mechanical limited-slip differential, and a lightweight carbon-fiber driveshaft. The SLS can reach 60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds and continue to an electronically-governed top speed of 196 MPH. Braking is handled by 6-piston front and 4-piston rear aluminum calipers coupled with cross-drilled rotors, and the suspension includes a race-inspired forged aluminum double-wishbone suspension to keep the SLS firmly planted on the road. This SLS AMG benefits from a lifetime of dealership maintenance, with routine oil services and maintenance inspections completed by Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown, New York, as detailed on the CARFAX report.

Porsche 8 ,I believe the airscarf is for convertible , i have the window sticker , cover , not sure about the book , I do have Sls Amg magazine
I was under the impression that the airscarf came as standard on the roadster but don't see it on the Monroney Label, please advise.
