Finished in Ruby Red Metallic over Brown Natural Leather upholstery, this 2011 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4S Coupe is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine paired with a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. At an original sticker price of over $123k, the car was generously optioned with deviated interior stitching, deviated leather on the dashboard and door panels, heated and ventilated 12-way power seats, an embossed storage bin lid, a leather center console and sun visors, a SportDesign steering wheel, BOSE Surround Sound System, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS, ParkAssist (rear), auto-dimming mirrors, and Sport Chrono Package Plus. A lifelong California car with one previous owner, this C4S is now being offered for auction with approximately 43k miles showing on the odometer.
The Carrera 4S features wider fenders than a standard 997.2 Carrera and a model-specific reflector band between taillights. This example is finished in Ruby Red Metallic and equipped with optional bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), fog lights, LED taillights, auto-dimming mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, red brake calipers, and 19” Carrera S II wheels in silver. The seller indicates the Michelin tires have recent production date codes, and the exterior remains in great condition apart from a few touched-up paint chips. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin showcases premium Brown Natural Leather upholstery with a matching Alcantara headliner, optional deviated stitching, and contrasting black leather on the dashboard and upper door panels. Other options include a leather storage bin lid with an embossed Porsche crest, a leather rear center console, leather sun visors, a leather SportDesign steering wheel with paddle shifters, heated and ventilated 12-way power seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, ParkAssist (rear), Voice Control, BOSE Surround Sound System, and an extended navigation module for the PCM infotainment system. A stopwatch is also mounted on the center dashboard as part of the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus.
The direct fuel-injected 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 385 HP to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus includes Sport and Sport Plus settings for the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) dampers, engine, and transmission. The CARFAX report shows 18 maintenance history records including a 70k-mile service performed at an authorized Porsche dealership in August 2024.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “A very honest full-option local car. Not missing a thing on the options list, a $126k MSRP car.”

Very valid question as to who holds the title.
@dino70089 Dealer transaction
You’d get title (if out of state) with proper docs regardless of name on title and transfer to you, that’s all in a short note, there is more detail but we have all that’s needed for you to get car titled to you
Bid in the amount of $62,750
@CARS458 Don't understand your response. How would you not know who holds the title?
@dino70089 @dino70089👍🏼
Still my guess but yes you were spot on
Bid in the amount of $62,500
Who owns title to the car? Carfax hasn't been updated since last August, still showing original owner.
Just posted cold start video. Let me know if you need any additional info, here to answer any last minute questions
@CARS458 Aha! So I was right about coffee cradled between the legs...don't ask how I would know!
@dino70089 As promised getting back to you on the light seat stains
Driver side buffed out a tiny bit more if you really look for it under certain light it’s there, passenger side is there and seems to be from a coffee spill at one point , could dye it but the color Hides it well

@dino70089 We’ll see if they buff out without using any harsh chemicals and report back
@dino70089 🙂
Actually the areas I've noticed appear darker, not lighter, than the surrounding areas.
@dino70089 I can’t make up a story on that subject because I honestly don’t know what happened to the seats but they are two small light stains and the brown leather does a nice job at not showing too much but our job is to take a detailed photo to show any imperfection.
Easiest option so to lightly spay and dye the seats but I don’t think it’s that bad.
I’ve asked my assistant to use
The special conditioner, not cleaner, to
See if he can make it better, will report and post photos tomorrow before the end of auction
Looks like another large stain on the passenger seat (117, 119, 120). Did the owner like to drive hard while cradling a cup of coffee in his/her lap?
@dino70089 Not a tear please refer to info and pics I submitted today
Bid in the amount of $59,972
Photo 161 sure looks a tear in the fiberglass.
Regarding service records, understood about extracting them from Porsche, but I’d expect that owner would’ve kept them.
The photos just posted are from the Undercarriage, someone had mentioned it was a tear, it is not, there are just the cut outs for the screws that hold the plastic undercarriage Cover

@dino70089 In the auction it was mentioned and submitted with accurate info on CARFAX regarding records , gets harder and harder to get records from dealers, if we are able to get them we’ll list them for sure …. That’s all I have on the subject
Still no service records to post? You should have hardcopies which could be scanned...at least the last few years where the services done provide findings. Carfax is very limited in that regard.

I figured maybe the seatbelt was the culprit on the rear seat back. And yes, it seems every manufacturer has their preferred leather cleaner for their cars and say, what's good for a BMW may not be for a Porsche or a Ferrari.
@dino70089 On the Rear passenger seat back the indent is caused by someone folding the seat with the seat buckle stuck in it so every time the rear seats are folded down the person has to make sure the seat buckles are pulled up above the seat back or all the way down, not a major thing because overtime or with a little bit of steam Fixes itself, the driver seat bottom 2 inch round mark is possibly something got spilled, but it’s not serious enough for us to dye the seat bottom I’ll have Detail buff it out with some really good leather food and I’m sure it will make it better. We don’t use leather cleaner because a lot of times they’re too strong and take the dye off the seat.
What's the indent in the rear passenger seatback from? Is there a stain in the driver side seat bottom?

@greg7334 Posting a bunch of pictures soon
Bid in the amount of $23,000
Thanks for your quick and detailed response.
@greg7334 Couple tiny ones on front bumper
But touched up, I’ll post close ups
Also the whole front end has PPF on hood, two fenders and two mirrors , not sure why the front bumper no longer has a PPF, possibly due to the fact that it was scuff and they peeled it, never did bumper or they painted front bumper but color match on front bumper is really good so hard to tell if it was painted or they peeled it off.
I would’ve used paint meter but it’s plastic and I don’t have a way of measuring it
Will try to post paint meter photos today and close up of font end, tires and brakes
Hi, I might have missed it but I would appreciate your response to my earlier question regarding paint chips. Thanks!.

Bid in the amount of $20,000
@fjthomas427 All tires are recent Michelin, just eye balling as a car person all tires and brakes have a lot of life left
But I have the meter for both belts look solid
This car was just recently serviced at Hi-Tech Auto, they have great knowledge of these cars
Bid in the amount of $13,250
What is the current tread depth, date and brand of tires? Measurements of front and rear brake pads? Have engine belts been replaced? The aesthetics of vehicle are marvelous.
@Pouyan Plastic cover for the undercarriage has a tear will post photos from different angle
@CLT997C4S I should be able to
Get print out as well if that’s what you prefer but the info on CARFAX is surprisingly in detail on this car
Bid in the amount of $13,000
Also curious about the underbody and lugs. Lots of oxidation and a little rust. I own a car that also lived in San Rafael most of its life and it didn’t show the same issues.
Also interested to hear if the service documents are available
Any details on minor underbody damage? Picture 161 and other minor scuffs.
Bid in the amount of $9,972
Aside from Carfax report are there any service documents available?
Love this color combo, and what a great spec. Man, I wish this was closer to NH......
Hello, very beautiful color combination plus extensive options. Can you be more specific about the minor touched up paint chips? Specifically, where are they located and the quality of the touch up? I did look at the pictures particularly of the nose and it's hard to differentiate between chips and shadows etc thank you.
Bid in the amount of $250
What a gorgeous interior!! 😍😍
