We are pleased to present this 2011 Porsche 997.2 GT3 for auction.  One of the most coveted naturally aspirated Porsches ever produced, this 997 GT3 features an iconic Mezger flat-six engine, 6-speed manual transmission, and factory options including the Sport Chrono Package, Dynamic Engine Mounts.  This 997.2 GT3 is now being offered in mint condition by a collector in Maryland with only 16k miles on the odometer.

The sleek black paint on this GT3 is stated to be in like-new condition with paint protection film covering the half hood and front bumper providing additional protection for years to come.  With a factory widebody shell, fixed rear wing, and large air intake vents above the engine cover, this GT3 is clearly set-apart from other 997 models on the road.  Completing the cars streamline atheistic is a set of OEM GT3 center-lock wheels which come wrapped in Michelin tires with a good amount of tread life remaining.

The cockpit of this GT3 is finished in black leather with Alcantara inserts on the seats, steering wheel, door panels, and shift boot.  Although said to never have been on a track, this race-ready interior is equipped with a PCM delete along with desirable factory options including Sport Chrono, Dynamic Engine Mounts (PADM), Fire Extinguisher, Dynamic Cornering Light, and Guards Red seat belts.  Looking past the steering wheel, the driver will be drawn to a centrally located tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, accompanied by a 225-mph speedometer.

This GT3 sports a naturally aspirated 3.8L Mezger flat-six engine that is mated to a  6-speed manual transmission as standard. This exhilarating and highly sought-after drivetrain produces 435HP at 7,600 rpm and 317 lb-ft of torque at 6,250 rpm.  Power is sent to the rear wheels, sending this GT3 to 60MPH in approximately 4 seconds. This coveted Mezger engine features titanium connecting rods, variable valve timing on the exhaust cams, and a dry-sump oiling system.  Service records and a full DME over-rev report confirms this collector-grade GT3 has been meticulously maintained throughout its life.

The sale will include two sets of keys, a clean Carfax report, a clean Porsche Multi-Point Inspection Report, DME over-rev report, service records, and car cover.  This low-mileage GT3 features legendary performance, iconic styling, and an impeccable service history. Do not miss your chance to own this one-of-a kind iconic 911.

@rxm2 I would be happy to represent and warrant original paint, as I know there has not been paint work since I purchased, and I inspected at that time.

The same goes for dme report. I would be happy to bring to a shop of your choice for dme report prior to the auction expiring.

As far as under carriage goes, I will post them. Thanks for your interest!

@Jeremy3280 Would you be able to provide a more recent over rev report and also paint meter measurements of the panels? If possible, can we see pictures of the underside of the car?
    Thanks

  • Jeremy3280 (seller) 4 years, 2 monthsago

@rxm2 no axel lift. The dme report is over a year old.

  • rxm2 4 years, 2 monthsago

Does the car have the front axel lift system?
What it the date of the DME report?
    Thanks

@cwoodman67 thanks so much for your interest! Please bid if you’re interested in the car. If you have any questions I can answer please let me know.

I looked for 1.5 years before finding this car. Almost every 997.2 gt3 had some kind of paint work or over revs. I just wanted one with no excuses. The car has been enthusiast owned, maintained, and driven.

    Please bid with confidence.
