We are pleased to offer this outstanding 2011 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S Coupe finished in Paint to Sample RS Green. The top-range flagship model of the 997 generation, this Turbo S commanded an original sticker price of over $179k and features a nonmetallic Paint to Sample exterior as well as a premium black full leather interior with a 3-spoke Sports Steering Wheel, Adaptive Sport Seats, extended carbon-fiber trim, a rear center console in leather, and PCM 3.0 with Voice Control and an Electronic Logbook.  Reported to have been properly cared for, dealer serviced, and enthusiast owned, this Turbo S now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania while showing just over 7,600 miles on the odometer.

This 997.2 is finished in the rarely seen Paint to Sample color of RS Green, a vibrant shade originally offered on the first-generation 997 GT3 RS.  Removable Turbo S designations have been added to the bottoms of each door along with a custom yellow "S" emblem on the rear. The windows have been tinted and clear paint protection film has been applied over the front bumper, mirror covers, and door edges as well as the forward portions of the hood and front fenders.  Additionally, the car was treated to a professional CeramicPro coating in July of 2018 which includes a lifetime warranty.  Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. Standard yellow PCCB brake calipers can be seen behind the factory 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels finished which are finished in black and dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires dated from 2018.  The car is reported to have been stored on tire cradles with less than 300 miles driven on the current set.

Inside, you will find a black full leather interior with heated Adaptive Sport Seats, a 3-spoke Sports Steering wheel with shift paddles, and carbon-fiber trim.  Factory exclusive options include the rear section of the center console in leather and the Additional Interior Carbon Package. This Turbo also comes equipped with Porsche Communication Management 3.0 (PCM 3.0) including Bluetooth Interface for Mobile Phone, XM Radio, Universal Audio Interface, Voice Control, and the Electronic logbook which allows the driver to record data from trips, fuel stops, service intervals and more.  The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.

One of the quickest production cars ever at the time of its debut, this Turbo S is equipped with a 3.8L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that sends up to 530 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 2.9 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH.  The Turbo S also comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). The seller reports all scheduled services to have been addressed through Porsche dealers with some other routine maintenance items carried out in-house at the seller's dealership.  Some history of service is also provided on CARFAX.

This sale will include a clean title. The ultimate version of the 997 Turbo, this beautifully configured, low mileage, Paint to Sample Turbo S offers a very special opportunity.

What an absolute beauty! If I didn’t already have a 997.2 TTS, I’d totally go for this one! Wonderful machine, this car deserves all the accolades. GLWS

I had a chance to buy this car when the old owner (2 ago at least, I assume) listed it on a forum. Lovely car. I did end up with a 997.2 Turbo S , just in GT Silver. They are amazing cars. I've since moved to a 991.2TTS and love it as well. GLWA.

I’ve seen this car in person. Stunning and flawless. Paint colour is brilliant.

@momotime Window sticker isn't in the books, but I still have to check the glove box... I highly doubt its there. But again I dont mind ordering a new re-pro from Stuttgart Studios or similar.

    Thanks!

@justin You likely already know this but for those who might not, the wheels we are discussing here are not a solid silver. Same exact design though. They actually have a black center and a roughly half inch silver ‘ring’ on the outer edge. It’s also a damn good looking wheel, but my preference on a bright car, like this Turbo S is all black. If the car were silver, black or some of the other grays, I don’t mind the silver ring for the added contrast.

If anyone wants to see the wheels I’ve probably horribly described (lol) hop on Google images for “997 gts rs spyder wheels black” you’ll see what the wheels we’re talking about look like.

At the end of the day the RS center lock wheel is awesome in pretty much any color.
Did a set for someone last month in solid GT Silver on a black car. That was very, very nice look.

    Thanks!
    Tim

The black wheels look great on the RS Green. Silver would look terrible.

  • HoltMotorsports (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@estiles Thank you for the information it is very much appreciated!!

I was always undecided on the yellow S badges, but decided to not mess with them since they do go well with the calipers and I'd loose whats left of my sanity if anything were to happen to the paint. The car was clearly cared for properly by previous owners!
The wheels, I loved from the second I saw them in person. A bit biased though since I typically run all black wheels on most of my modern cars.

Have a good day and thanks again!

I was the second owner of this car and put about 5000 of its miles on it. When I sold the car in 2018 is was still all original. The wheels where in 100% perfect original condition at that time: black with the silver lip. The buyer let me know that he planned on modding it, which I was very surprised about considering its low miles and pristine condition.

Aside from the wheels, the obvious changes include the window tint and painted rear emblem.

    Quick update!

Sending over the Excel Spreadsheet and the WorldPAC receipt to PCar once I'm done typing this message. As you'll see it is just a very, very basic way for me to keep track of what we do with our own personal cars and with having only covered 284 more miles on the car, it just isn't going to be a super impressive looking "invoice". I don't even count my time when working on our own cars since I truly do enjoy wrenching even after 25 years.

Worth noting: Before we bought the car someone must have put coil packs in there since they looked even newer then what one would expect to find on a 7K mile car. I do not have any record of this though. I inspected each coil and plug extender closely and all are perfect. The previous owners were fastidious, to say the least and I'd bet they did the coils at some point. In fact the plugs looked just as new... but after taking the time to get in there (its a good 2.5-3.0 hour job) of course the new plugs were installed. I might still have the old plugs sitting in my toolbox come to think of it!

If there are any other questions or info someone would like provided, please don't hesitate to comment here or reach out directly!

    Thanks!

@HoltMotorsports thanks Tim for the update. I will wait for you to post the service records. Re. the wheels the reason I asked is I am an originality person. No big deal, easy to put back to std silver anodize. Re. window sticker also no big deal, I can pull the build sheet from Porsche.

@HoltMotorsports Sorry for typos! On my phone at the moment.

@momotime I’ll double check on the window sticker but I’m 99% sure it’s not there. I’m was going to order one of the StuttgartStudios window stickers since they’re great! …but I know some folks prefer other sources. Figured I’d just want until I speak with the next care taker to see which they’d prefer.

The wheels were painted at some point before me to a very, very high standard. I think it was done by a Porsche dealer or Porsche authorized repair shop. They are spot on and the paint lays on them as OEM paint would. I personally love the look on this car being it almost toned it down in a sense. (That just feels goofy to type about this car! lol)
A silver barrel would feel odd against the green and yellow, but that is only my opinion. If someone wanted the car with the silver barreled wheels, we’ll figure out a way to make it happen ?

As for service records all I have is what we’ve done to the car, which is just about everything in the major service. I’ll print them out & get them up here within the next day or two. If I can dig up any through Porsche I’ll post those as well.

    Thanks!
    -Tim

Do you have a copy of the original window sticker? Were the wheels painted black by you or one of the previous owners. It does not show on the build sheet. Also, can you please post service invoices. Also is rest of car 100% factory original ?thanks.. great car btw.

Tim, what a beautiful car! Very cool and rare color!
I bought my 997.1 Turbo from Tim in 2017; they have the nicest cars in the nation. Used their shipper also and was a great experience.
Good luck with the auction, looks like a great car!

    Hello Everyone!

We are very excited to offer our 997.2 Turbo S here on PCarMarket!!!!

This RS Green Turbo is about as rare and as crisp as they get these days.
We've owned this car and have stored it in our personal collection for just about three years. In that time we've added a staggering.... 282 miles. After every drive we would have the car professionally gone over by our detailer to remove any road boogies or tire shine, which you may notice in some of the photos since these photos are mostly, if not all post drive clean ups. This car was also paint corrected and then had the FULL CeramicPRO "lifetime" package applied in July of 2018, which still is as good as the day it was applied.

It still smells like a brand new 997.2, has been stored in our climate controlled facility with seat and steering wheel covers, and shows wonderfully. The photos don't do this one justice!

This would make for one amazing addition to any collection, to be used as a national level concourse car... or just a unicorn that makes those Sunday morning backroad adventures just that much more amazing. (that is all we ever used it for and a couple local Cars & Coffee get togethers).

I'll do my best to check the auction every couple hours and keep an eye out for notifications.
So please feel free to ask any questions!

Someone is going to be getting a VERY special car.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

    -Tim
