Up for auction is this 2011 Porsche 987.2 Boxster S.  The Boxster was introduced in 1997 as Porsche's premiere mid-engine roadster and has been known for its ideal drivability and sporty nature ever since.  This 2011 example features numerous factory options and a clean bill of health.  Being a New York car it's entire life, this example was sold new at South Shore Porsche to a PCA member with an MSRP of over $73k.  Now showing only 38k miles on the odometer, it is being offered in excellent turn-key condition by its seller out of Cold Spring Harbor, NY.

The Meteor Grey Metallic Paint is stated to be all original and in excellent condition showing minimal wear.  The black convertible top is fully functioning and in like-new condition with the exception of a fixable overlap near the driver’s door.  A full walk around video is available below.  A few noteworthy exterior features of this Boxster S include factory dual center-mounted exhaust pipes, Bi-Xenon headlights, Boxster S rear designation, and 18” Boxster S wheels that wear a set of Hankook tires.

Inside, you will find a black leather interior that is stated to be in excellent condition with only minor wear.  Carbon fiber trimming can be found on the 3-spoke multifunction heated steering wheel which adds a nice touch to this already sporty interior.  All gauges and electronics are stated to be in full working order including the factory XM satellite radio receiver.  With it’s $73,515 MSRP, additional factory options include: sport chrono package, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and a PCM navigation module.

This Boxster S is powered by an iconic 3.4L flat-six mid-mounted engine that is capable of producing approximately 310HP and 266 lb-ft of torque.  Power is sent to the rear wheels via a smooth 7-Speed PDK transmission.  Before the current owner's purchase, a few general maintenance items were addressed including a full filter and fluid change.  The car has only been driven a few thousand miles since and is said to be in excellent running condition.
