Unveiled at the 2009 Los Angeles Motor Show as the lightest car in Porsche's model range, the Boxster Spyder is a purist’s dream car featuring minimal amenities, stiff sport suspension, lightweight 19” wheels, and a uniquely tuned flat-six engine producing 320 HP. This 2011 example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black leather interior and was optioned with a 7-speed PDK transmission, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sound Package Plus, and more. This Boxster was acquired by the seller from Porsche of Westwood, Massachusetts, as a pre-owned vehicle at approximately 23k miles. It is now being offered for auction out of New Hampshire with just over 28k miles on the odometer.
Compared to the standard 987.2 Boxster, the Spyder version features a lightweight aluminum hood and door panels, a larger fixed rear spoiler, and a manually operated convertible top stored beneath a unique double-hump aluminum decklid. The special bodywork also includes minimalistic LED front daytime running lights and the absence of horizontal slats on the side air intake grilles. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with optional matching roll bars, black ‘Porsche’ script on the doors, and lightweight 19” Boxster Spyder wheels that have been powder-coated black with red accents and wrapped in Pirelli tires. The mirrors, door handles, and rear hatch trim have also been power-coated black and details include side air intakes, a black rear diffuser, dual center-mounted tailpipes, red brake calipers, and red soft top latching points above the rear fenders. The cabin is upholstered in Black leather and features heated Sport Seats, red seatbelts, red RS-style door pulls, and black floor mats. This example is equipped with the optional Sound Package Plus, Porsche Communication Management 3.0 (PCM) including extended navigation, Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard, Bi-Xenon headlights with dynamic cornering lights, universal audio interface, Bluetooth interface for mobile phone, and a cup holder.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing as much as 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque, an increase of 10 HP over the Boxster S. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus and 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, the Spyder can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 4 seconds. The seller reports all Porsche-recommended service items to have been performed.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a toolkit, an air pump, a car cover, and a clean title.

it was a factory certified car with warrantee.
@drjoe356 thanks, I saw those too. I was wondering whether it was just the rears, but even so at 10 years this will likely need 4 new shoes.
@NHPorscheguy Readable tire codes Photos #41 and #43 show 2114 and 18(?)14 so tires are old but not the tires that came on the car as delivered. Probably put on as part of CPO certification in 2014.
@gf2020 The car was purchased at Porsche of Westwood in the name of Renovation Services INC.
We changed the title in 2019 to our Family revocable Trust of 2018.

@Jtbyrne10-Claire its more than a typo because the are two entries are on two different dates from the tire shop in Plaistow. It might be worth having that checked....nobody likes a funky carfax on a car like this.

It is not the service that I am questioning, it is the decrease in miles from 26,884 in 2017 to 20,392 in 2022.
When did you acquire the car?
@ceebee I have no idea what the service was.
it was serviced when I bought it and in California after our trip there was a service for the key that needed to be programmed.
There are some inconsistences on the CARFAX regarding mileage. For example, on 11/7/16 the car was
serviced at 26,804 miles and again serviced on 10/13/17 at 26,884 miles. Later. on 8/6/22 the car was serviced showing 20,392 miles and serviced again on 2/27/23 showing 20,327 miles, a reduction of over 6,500 miles.
Any idea as to what transpired?

@Kevinmr I found a great carrier to haul to car both ways in a covered Trailor.
The trip up and back from San Diego and back was great. We took are time 10 days.
drove about 4 hours a day and had lunch and enjoyed our time.

the service in California was don we traveled on the coastal highway from San Diego so San Fransico.
decided to change all the fluids during that time no breakdowns.
Mt daughter lives in San Diego we spent 3 months out there and traveled quite a bit.

Hi - Love these 987 Spyders. Would prefer a manual, but since this is in my home state....
Just a couple of quick questions. Can you explain the yellow tape holding a wire of some sort in picture 74. Also, I noticed that there is an extensive service that was done in San Diego while the car was otherwise in New Hampshire. I think this was done during your ownership. Did the car break down in CA, or is there something else going on there. Finally, I assume the P Zeros are summers. Can you confirm this, and provide date codes? Thanks.

my name is Joseph T Byrne purchased my 2006 Cyane turbo S. From Porsche of Westwood in 2008 from the showroom from Mike.
They didn't make a 2007 model made that year.
so, the 2006 was brand new when I bought it.
He Rember'd me when the 2011 Boxter Spyder arrived at his dealership and call me.
I went to look at it and immediately bought it was a great car with Porsche warrantee factory certified.
Great car handles and performed amazing. Always Kept in a garage when not being driven.
