We are pleased to present this 2011 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S finished in Carrara White over a Black interior with leather Sport Seats. Having commanded an original sticker price of over $108k, this 997.2 is factory optioned with PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Chrono Package Plus, 19” Carrera Sport wheels and the Aerokit Cup. Purchased by its second and current owner from a dealership in Virginia back in 2015, this 997.2 has been fastidiously maintained over the past 5 years while accumulating just over 32k miles in total. Remaining in outstanding overall condition, this Carrera S is now being offered by its seller in Maryland accompanied by a clean title and Carfax report.
The Carrara White finish on this 997.2 is reported to be in exceptional condition with Xpel paint protective film applied over the front bumper, headlamps and mirror covers (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). This Carrera S has been factory optioned with the desirable Aerokit Cup which consists of revised front and rear bumpers as well as a rear wing derived from the GT3 model. This 997.2 also showcases factory 19” Carrera Sport wheels which come dressed in Continental tires installed in 2016 at approximately 23k miles.
The driver is situated in a Black interior with heated leather Sport Seats, a SportDesign steering wheel and the Bose Surround Sound System. The cabin is noted to be in very good condition with only minor wear indicated on the driver’s seat as well as some scuffs on the driver’s doorsill. A Rennline magnetic phone holder was installed, although the interior remains otherwise stock with all functions and accessories working properly.
This 997.2 is equipped with a direct fuel-injected 3.8 L flat-six engine rated at 385 HP. A 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission sends power to the rear wheels providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.5 seconds. Optional performance features include a limited slip rear differential, Sport Chrono Package Plus and PASM Sport Suspension. The seller indicates that proper routine maintenance has been carried out including a comprehensive 4 year/20k recommended service which included new spark plugs as well as fluid and filter changes. A new battery was installed in 2017, the front brakes were replaced in 2019 at 30k miles along with a PDK fluid change and temperature sensor replacement. This Carrera S is said to drive beautifully while backed by service records from the current ownership.
The sale of this Carrera S will include the original books and tools, a set of 2 keys and service records. With a truly impressive array of options, this beautifully presented 997.2 is not to be overlooked.

@mdavidson Thank you for your confirmation on the IMS issue.
@dward0782 seller is correct, no IMS on the redesigned 997.2 engine (2009-2012 are 997.2 cars)
It is my understanding that the IMS issue was in the 996 and early 997’s generation. From my research the later 997’s don’t have issues with the IMS bearing. I have not changed the IMS in my 997.
I would like to bid but I would like to know about the IMS.
