Audi’s V10-powered R8 supercar was unveiled in 2008 featuring a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter engine borrowed from the Lamborghini Gallardo. This first-generation 2012 Audi R8 5.2 Quattro Spyder comes finished in Phantom Black Pearl Effect over a black leather interior and equips a sought-after 6-speed manual gearbox along with optional Carbon Sigma inlays, the Enhanced Leather Package, illuminated door sills, and a perforated leather multifunction steering wheel. Acquired by the current owner in 2018 and fitted with an upgraded exhaust system, this R8 Spyder is now being offered for auction out of New York with just over 14k miles showing on the odometer.
The V10-powered Audi R8 5.2 can be visually distinguished from its V8 counterpart by more aggressive body styling, all-LED headlights, larger rear brakes, dual-outlet exhaust system, chrome-trimmed grille, and “V10” badging on the front fenders. This Spyder version comes finished in Phantom Black Pearl Effect with a black retractable soft top and Aluminum Optic details for the windscreen frame, fuel filler cap, and engine cover vents. It rides on V10-specific 19” polished aluminum 10 Y-spoke forged wheels. The seller notes that the car is completely preserved under paint protection film and Pirelli P Zero tires were installed in 2018 with approximately 2k miles driven since. The cabin is trimmed in black leather and features optional Carbon Sigma inlays, a multifunction steering wheel in perforated leather, illuminated door sills, and the Enhanced Leather Package which extends leather trim to the dashboard and door panels. This R8 also came standard with a Bang & Olufsen 465-watt sound system, heated and power-adjustable Sport Seats, automatic climate control, a rearview parking camera, and an infotainment system including Audi Navigation Plus. A controller has been mounted above the climate control panel for an aftermarket radar detector system.
This R8 derives as much as 525 HP and 391 lb.-ft of torque from a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter DOHC FSI V10 engine which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and the Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. Performance features include front and rear double-wishbone suspension, the Audi Magnetic Ride adaptive damping system, Servotronic electromechanical power steering, an automatically extending rear spoiler, and 4-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS and rear electronic brake pressure distribution (EBD). The seller states that an upgraded performance exhaust system has been installed and routine service has been recently completed.

@gator_deuce Tires were replaced in 2018 with approximately 12,000 on the car. They have excellent tread.
The shocks are not leaking. The rear shocks were just replaced last month.
