We are pleased to present this 2012 Audi R8 Coupe 4.2 Quattro finished in Daytona Gray Pearl Effect over a black interior. A major milestone for Audi, the R8 was first offered in 2006 as a high-performance sports car utilizing a mid-engine platform, aluminum spaceframe, and lightweight carbon/aluminum construction. One of only 802 examples reported to have been sold in the U.S. for the model year, this 2012 R8 carries a 4.2L V8 engine paired with a highly sought-after 6-speed gated manual transmission. At an original sticker price of over $129k, it was also optioned with the Leather Package, illuminated door sill inserts, the Convenience Package, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system. Remaining true to its factory specifications while showing just over 17k-miles on the odometer, this rare 6-speed R8 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut.
This R8 is finished in Daytona Gray Pearl Effect with optional Oxygen Silver contrasting side blades. Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean two-owner CARFAX. Some distinctive features of the R8 include lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber body panels, full LED headlamps, a single-frame radiator grille, automatic rear spoiler, and glass rear engine cover. This example rides on factory 19” 5-arm double-spoke alloy wheels, and the seller reports that a set of new tires will be mounted prior to sale.
Inside, you will find a black interior with the optional Leather Package including leather door inserts and handles. Other optional features include a perforated Sport Steering wheel, illuminated door sill inserts, Audi navigating system plus w/ AMI, and a high-end Bang & Olufsen sound system. The optional Convenience Package also includes Audi parking system plus, Audi hill hold assist, power-folding and auto-dimming mirrors, cargo nets, and additional storage compartments. This R8 is equipped with a 430 HP 4.2L V8 FSI engine that drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox. Utilizing Audi’s Quattro AWD system, this R8 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.5 seconds. Other technical features include anti-lock disc brakes with 8-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Audi magnetic ride adaptive damping system, double-wishbone front and rear suspension, and an ASF aluminum frame. All available maintenance history is provided on CARFAX including a 2019 service from Hoffman Audi at 17,028 miles. The seller reports that an oil service has also been carried out recently in preparation for sale.

Please Install Michelin PS4 tires, as that way the buyer does not need to switch them out immediately.
@CUP103 The car has zero leaks in the paint is in excellent condition free from scratches and no dings. Besides the new tires we will also include a full detail before it gets shipped out or picked up.

@nnnick We just had added the photos you requested to the listing (scroll all the way down). We just checked with Audi and they have no service history of carbon cleanings or suspension work. The car does drive very well and does not feel down on power or corked up. The shocks look good too with the exception of some water (rain/snow today) and road grime.

Nice looking example! Do you know if it has had a carbon clean documented? Any leaks from the DRC (mag-ride) suspension? Would it be possible to get some under-carriage shots?
