The Fisker Karma was introduced in 2011 as a plug-in electric hybrid luxury sports car designed and produced by Fisker Automotive, founded in 2007 by famed auto designer Henrik Fisker. The Karma is driven by a pair of 120 kW electric motors that receive power from a 20.1 lithium-ion battery and provides an all-electric range of around 50 miles. When electric power is depleted, or the driver selects the “sport” button, the Karma can utilize its GM-sourced 260 HP 2.0L Ecotec engine, which powers a generator to drive the electric motors using an optional timer module, and provides a range of around 250 miles. Said to be one of 2,450 produced from 2011-2012, this Karma was ordered in Deep Ocean Metallic over a two-tone black and tan interior with the EcoSport trim, and received an all-new main battery and rear drivetrain under previous ownership. Now showing approximately 71k miles on the odometer, this 2012 Fisker Karma is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Virginia.

The aluminum bodywork is finished in Deep Ocean Metallic and was designed by Henrik Fisker, with construction completed in the Valmet Automotive plant in Finland. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights, chrome trim, chrome flush door handles, a roof-mounted solar panel, gray brake calipers with white Fisker script, and a forward-hinged hood. The 22” Circuit Blade wheels are finished in matte black and mounted with Atturo AZ800 tires. Some curb rash and fading of the center caps are visible on the wheels, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The interior is lined with two-tone black and tan leather including upholstery on the center console and door panels with matching carpeting and aluminum trim. Amenities include remote start, interior LED lighting, front and rear parking sensors, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel with shift paddles, heated front and rear seats, push-button ignition, remote keyless entry, dual-zone climate control, a 295-watt 8-speaker sound system, and a 10.2” touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.

The Karma is driven by dual rear-mounted electric motors powered by a 20.1-kilowatt-hour battery pack which produces up to 402 HP and 959 lb-ft of torque.  A turbocharged direct-injected 2.0-liter Ecotec inline-four supplies an AC generator that powers the electric motors when the battery pack is depleted using the optional timer module. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a direct-drive transmission and a limited-slip differential, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 6 seconds with a top speed of 126 MPH. Performance features include Brembo 4-wheel disc brakes with regenerative braking, a 3.3 kWh onboard charger for 120v or 240v use, and a roof-mounted solar panel for additional range. The seller reports that the main battery and rear drivetrain have been replaced under previous ownership, and the power steering was checked in August of 2022.

This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a battery charger, and some service documentation.

The km and the vehicle sure does scare me, but you seem to have a good track record of selling cars and being honest… that goes a long way in my books

@zone also just from my experience I’ve had about nine of these, I do love them, in my opinion some of the most beautiful cars ever made so far ahead of their time it was only about 2000 these made , if you have any of these that are over 50,000 miles, 100% of the time the battery has been replaced and the drivetrain has been replaced they usually fail in about 20 or 30,000 miles which is why they were a failure when they made them in the beginning, if you buy these things with low miles you are gonna have a Lot of issues, you will 100% have to replace the battery in the main drive train but after you do that once he seem to be good to go,,So from my experience you always want to buy these things when they have at least 50,000 miles or more

@zone I do not have the receipts it was done by prob the most popular Fikser karma guy in the US his name is Joe he has a shop in Pennsylvania he did the battery in the drivetrain and the timer module and he’s the one that did the work for the Kraft Heinz family, I contacted him and that’s how I found out about everything

  • zone (registered bidder) 1 year, 8 monthsago

@prmnorton1 can you share the receipts for the main battery replacement?

  • prmnorton1 (seller) 1 year, 8 monthsago

Also to note this car does have solar panels on the roof, they charge the small battery, operated AC and charge the bigger battery, one of a kind feature that is only on a fisker karma, very very unique car

Hi this interesting beautiful car is one of my personal favorites I do have a couple of them if you’re not familiar they are part electric and part motor they do have a battery system in them you can charge it up to 50 miles and you can change in an out while you’re driving or you can actually use the motor to charge the battery while you’re driving, or use just motor for sport mode, with a full charge and full tank you get about 300-400 miles (50 electric, 250-300 gas) this particular model has a timer module installed which is a $4000 upgrade option where you can actually change a setting and have the motor charge the battery while you’re driving so you could technically run on electric continuously, these cars come with a 2.0 L turbo charge general motor engine the parts are readily available and actually pretty cheap the car has about 400 hp and it is definitely a not slow, this particular model has had most everything redone the battery has been replaced the (big one) and the drivetrain system and other things here and there have been replaced as well you will not have any problems, Usually when his cars have some miles on them you’re pretty much worry free, I do have another one that has almost 200,000 miles on it just to give you a testament after everything has been replaced you should be good to go, fun fact about this car as it was owned and bought brand new by the Kraft hienz ketchup family, In opinion these cars are some of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen they were definitely ahead of their time
