Based on the fifth generation W221 S-Class, the S63 AMG was offered as the high-performance version of Mercedes’ flagship luxury sedan featuring a 5.5-liter V8 engine along with larger brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, Active Body Control, and AMG-specific styling. This S63 is equipped with the $7,300 P30 AMG Performance Package which offers an additional 27 HP and 70 lb-ft of torque over the standard S63 AMG. This 2012 example also features the optional AMG Performance steering wheel, heated rear seats, panoramic sunroof, electric rear window shades, and Distronic Plus Adaptive Cruise Control. The seller would like you to know: "I’ll start by saying, out of all the cars that I own, this is the ONE I enjoy the most when driven. From the sound of her ignition to the smoothness of the drive, in my view, this is one of the best S-Classes that Mercedes has produced. I purchased the car back in 2017 and have been a proud owner of her ever since. The S63 was used and driven by me alone, as my business transportation vehicle. Initially, the car had a problem with the hydraulic suspension system, which was fixed as it was under Mercedes warranty, thereafter, there have been no issues with her at all. I have maintained the car with regular oil services at 5000 KM intervals despite the manufacturer's recommendation of 10000 Km. It is important to note, that engine flush has been used prior to every oil change to prevent any debris from scoring the Piston chambers. Important note, the S63 has never been red-lined, nor has she seen any track abuse whatsoever. She is for the refined enthusiast. The car has been stored in a heated garage during winter and has been driven only during the summer months. I have included pictures of the underneath so that one can see that there is no rust on any joints or the frame even down to the nuts and bolts are clean. When fueling the car, I have always used 94-octane at the pumps. The minimum is 91 however, for peak performance, I would suggest that the new owner use a better quality of fuel than 91. When the car is viewed, one will see that she has a protective clear cover installed on the front to protect against stone chips. I have included all records that pertain to the car and have photographed the same for viewing purposes. The car comes with a set of winter mats and a car cover. The tool kit and the other accessories are all with the car. So, in summary. This is a mint-clean car that has been a pride and joy for me to own. The 63 has that new car smell and feel about her. She has been loved and cared for ever since I have been the owner and perhaps You the new owner will also treat her well and most importantly respect the power of that handmade power plant that lives under the majestic body lines that make this car one of the most aggressive looking S class ever made.”
