Limited to just 1,000 examples worldwide, the Mini inspired by Goodwood was designed in conjunction with Rolls-Royce at their development facility in Goodwood. With Rolls-Royce exclusive details including a Diamond Black Metallic finish, Cornsilk Beige leather interior, and 17” Goodwood Light Design wheels, each example showcased premium craftsmanship and materials. This example is said to have been modified with a John Cooper Works Performance Kit and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada while showing under 60k kilometers (37k miles) on the odometer.
Each example features a Rolls Royce Diamond Black Metallic finish, chrome accents, and 17” Goodwood Multi-Spoke Light Design Alloy wheels. “Inspired by Goodwood” badges surround the clear direction indicator lights. Other exterior equipment includes Xenon Adaptive headlights, headlight washers, front fog lights, clear direction indicator lights, a rear fog lamp, and a central dual exhaust outlet. “John Cooper Works” badges have been fitted to the front grille and rear. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Rolls-Royce exclusive Cornsilk Beige leather upholstery and a Cashmere headliner. Burr Walnut trim spans the dashboard and door handle surfaces, while Piano Black trim enhances the retro switches. Equipment includes a Sport leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel, heated Sport seats, automatic climate control, the Light Package, a Mini Navigation System, and a Harmon Kardon sound system.
The Inspired by Goodwood Mini is based on the Cooper S, powered by an N14 DOHC 1.6-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine. As much as 181 HP and 177 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the front wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Standard performance features include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Hill Assist, and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA). The seller adds that a John Cooper Works Performance kit has been added and a host of documentation will accompany the sale. The CARFAX report shows a total of 3 service records since 2016.
This sale will include a clean title.

A little fun fact on the Canadian Goodwood versus the USA Goodwood. The Canadian Goodwood has the rear foglight operational. The switch panel for the toggle switches is complete as opposed to the US market Goodwood that has a blank where the rear foglight switch is supposed to be.
Also, many Goodwoods have been easily exported to the US as they have the possibility to swithch the km/h digital speedometer to miles/hr.

1-Experience with snow in a MINI: Yes, i have(albeit not in this one) they are a blast with proper tires. Would I take this low mileage 1/171(Canada and USA) 1/1000 (ever made) Goodwood to drive in the snow, not sure..
2-How old are the tires: Tires are 2012, original to the car and still have a decent thread on them. I elected not to change them as some would prefer to go the runflatt route and others prefer the conventional/non runflat route.
3-Biggest repair bill: We only have a printout of the operations done on the car but no bills, the print out is in the gallery.
4-Was the car tracked? Not to my knowledge and would be really surprised if it was. Based on the original 2012 tires that are still on the car, and on the state on the suspension parts that seem to still be all the original parts, car seems to have been driven softly.
Lovely car that I am thinking to get my daughter who is going to college.
Have you had any experience with it in the snow and is it capable? How old are the tires? What was the biggest repair bill so far? And, have you tracked the car at all?

Yes indeed it is a special built MINI (as a Goodwood but also with the added rarity of the JCW) that is seldom listed and the last Goodwood listed on online auctions dates back to Dec 2021.

Very recently the car has had a complete service including oil and filter changes. The thermostat housing was also changed and the coolant was completely flushed and renewed. All work was done at a renowned independent specialist.

Welcome to this auction of the first Goodwood on Pcarmarket. This is a very special MINI made for the discerning individuals who want fun and discreet luxury. This is essentially a Rolls Royce in the smallest package.
I would like to kick off this auction with a quick explanation of the export process in case this specimen finds its new home in the US:
Since this is a younger than 25 years vehicle, a letter of compliance has to be requested from the manufacturer (Step done✅, awaiting response)
2-This Goodwood does have the option to show the speed digitally (digital speedometer) in kms or in miles, so it is a non issue if the US buyer is a private party and is importing the car for personal use. If it is a dealer, it is more complicated as the importation process has to go through a registered importer and the speedometer has to be retofitted by a BMW dealer.
The rest of the importation is pretty standard, just like any 25 and older vehicle:
1-Import taxe (2.5%) of the declared value
2-Custom clearance fees of +/-500$
3-State inspection like for any car that is from another state.
I will help the buyer in any way i can to export the car to the US (i.e. Refer to a customs broker, find a trasnsport quote, temporary storage if buyer elects to pick up and drive)..
The export process is a breeze, i have done it multiple times and have driven or delivered sold cars across the border.
