Up for auction is this pristine and well-equipped 2012 991 Carrera S.  Unveiled at the Frankfurt International Auto Show in 2011, the 991 became the third entirely new 911 platform developed since the original 911’s inception in 1963.  Boasting technological advancements and all-new styling, the 991 is described by Car and Driver as longer, lower, wider, faster, more fuel efficient, and amazingly, slightly lighter.  Complete with an extensive list of desirable factory options and an upgraded Fabspeed exhaust, this 2-owner 2012 Carrera S shows less than 6,700 miles and is now being offered for auction in excellent overall condition by a seller in New Jersey.

The lustrous factory black paint shines brilliantly and shows to be in like-new condition.  Meticulously maintained and well-cared for,  this 991 is said to retain fully original paint.  This Carrera rides on factory equipped 20” Carrera Classic wheels which remain flawless and are complimented by colored center crests.  Exterior options include automatically dimming mirrors, an electric sunroof and Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) headlights.

Inside, this Carrera S is appointed in a black leather interior contrasted by red stitching.  The heated 14-way power sport seats are virtually free of any wear while the rest of the interior remains impeccably clean and without flaws.  Red seat belts have been installed, beautifully compliment the cabin's deviated stitching and remain the only modification to this otherwise bone stock interior.  Touting an original sticker price of $109,995, this 991 comes with must-have factory options including:

  • PASM Sport Suspension
  • ParkAssist (front and rear)
  • Sport Chrono Package
  • Navigation Module
  • Sport Design Steering Wheel
  • BOSE Audio Package

This 991 Carrera S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine producing 395HP and 325 lb-ft of torque.  Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a highly desirable 7-speed manual transmission.  Sport Chrono enables the driver to change performance characteristics on the fly while PASM sport suspension offers adjustable ride stiffness and incomparable handling.  The owner has installed a Fabspeed valvetronic center muffler bypass, adding an estimated 16HP and making for a stellar exhaust note.  This Carrera is said to have been very well-kept, always receiving due service from qualified technicians.

Included in the sale of this immaculate 2012 C2S are all associated books and documentation as well as service records.  Also included will be a clean Carfax report confirming this as an accident free, 2-owner vehicle.  Barely 6,700 miles from new, this remarkably clean Carrera S makes the perfect opportunity for any discerning collector or enthusiast.

@Nimaza no dead pixels, I guess it was the shutter speed of the camera vs the LEDs. I'll try to snap a better photo of it today.

Picture of Chrono is showing dead pixels.

Could you please clarify if that is correct ?

  • MadMax (seller) 4 years, 7 monthsago

@donzi123 it's a center section only, and as I said in an earlier post, I will put the factory center section back on at no charge if the winning bidder chooses. I personally have not had bad experience with fabspeed and I think it sounds good.

  • donzi123 (registered bidder) 4 years, 7 monthsago

    Fabspeed exhaust?

  • MadMax (seller) 4 years, 7 monthsago

I also forgot to add, for the winning bidder, I can put the stock exhaust back on. The fabspeed that is on this car is the center section only, The factory exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, and side mufflers are still in place.

@981X2 No dead pixels. When I'm back home tomorrow, I will take a closer photo of it.

@James00054 this car was not equipped with a factory sport exhaust, so no flaps. honestly if I get into a car with sport exhaust, I end up opening the flaps immediately anyway. This exhaust is a little bit louder than a factory sport exhaust open. It makes the car sound great, but is also not excessively loud. I'll snap a clip on Sunday.

  • James00054 4 years, 7 monthsago

Can you please include a clip of the car running with the values open and closed? I love the fabspeed exhaust. Had it on my 08 Cayman and it was excellent.

  • 981X2 (registered bidder) 4 years, 7 monthsago

Seller, it looks like there are dead pixels in the sport chrono timer. Is that the case?
