We are pleased to present this 2012 Porsche 997.2 Carrera GTS finished in Carrara White over a Carrera Red Natural Leather interior. One of the more desirable models of the 997 generation, the GTS features wide fenders, center-lock wheels, a specially tuned 3.8L flat-six engine, and premium factory features including Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) and PASM active suspension. At an original sticker price of over $129k, this 2012 example also highlights additional options including Adaptive Sport Seats, Sport Chrono Package Plus, painted side skirts, clear taillights, and the Exclusive Aerokit Cup package. Purchased by its third and current owner as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche Austin in 2017, this beautifully appointed Carrera GTS is now being offered for auction out of California with just over 11k miles showing on the odometer.
This GTS is finished in nonmetallic Carrara White and shares its wide fenders with the Carrera 4 model. The car is said to have always been stored under a cover in a climate-controlled setting while preserved with clear paint protection film over the hood and front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This example came factory optioned with the Exclusive Aerokit Cup package (XAA) which includes a unique front spoiler and a fixed GT3-style rear wing. Other Exclusive options include painted side skirts and clear taillights. This GTS rides on 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels which come dressed in Pirelli P-Zero tires showing date codes from 2015.

This 997.2 is powered by a specially tuned 3.8L flat-six engine rated at 408 HP, a 23 HP increase over the standard Carrera S. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) are equipped as standard, and this example also features the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus. Maintenance carried out under the current ownership includes a 40k-mile service in 2017 at 10,625 miles, an oil change in 2018 at 10,874 miles, and a major Porsche dealer service in 2019 at 11,298 miles which included a new battery and changes of the PDK fluid, brake fluid, and oil. The most recent oil service was carried out in September of 2020 at 11,520 miles. A collection of invoices is provided for reference in the photo gallery along with a Porsche multi-point inspection report.

@Jalthree Hi @Jalthree and other concerns about the little imperfections of photos 80 and 81.
I actually did not notice that until you mentioned it. But there is no damage at all, I think the leather was very soft and somehow I was leaned on with an object on my back (maybe the belt) when taking the back seat photos and resulted the effect. Beautiful ride.... love it. Can you address the imperfection in the dash in the upper left hand quadrant of pictures 80 and 81? Repairable? Not as prominent as the pics show? You seem to have presented this car with care and honesty... it shows extremely well.
@stonesf Stunning car with factory Aero is so impressive. It says so much about the original owner/builder. Always seems over the top at brand new. Just give it a few years or generations and people drool over it. Unlikely this car was a dealership build with the awesome red interior. Unfortunately the box is not my cup of T. I've been very fortunate to own several Porsches with model range of 996, 997 and 991. This last year's production 2012 997.2 GTS with factory aerokit is a remarkable raw Porsche. Raw because I enjoyed every time to pull the handbrake after park instead of a parking brake buttons on my 991.2 The previous owner was traded in on 7/2017 at Porsche Austin for a GT3. It's a CPO car with a warranty that expired 2 years ago. Carfax shows 5 owners but it really is 3 owner car (Owner 2 and 3 was dealership on Carfax) Porsche Austin checked everything and CPO it. This GTS is always with in-door car cover and plug-in with Porsche battery maintainer in the garage. I have added 1,000 miles the last 4 years of ownership.
