We are pleased to present this nicely-spec’d 2012 911 Turbo S.  As the pinnacle of the Porsche lineup, the Turbo S combines blistering speed and performance with daily drivability that can not be matched by any other car on the road.  Carrying an original MSRP of over $166k, this example is now being offered out of Phoenix, AZ.

This particular Turbo S is finished in black and has recently undergone a full detail, further enhancing its shine.  The 997 generation Turbo’s stand out from their Carrera siblings thanks to a more aggressive front facia, large intakes on the rear quarter panels, and a hydraulically actuated wing for added downforce at high speeds.  Adding to the sporty nature of the Turbo S are smoked-look headlight and taillight lenses (removable) as well as a set of factory 19” Center Lock RS Spyder wheels (finished in black) that come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.  Housed within these wheels are PCCB Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes.

Inside, this Turbo S features a black full leather interior which is perfectly contrasted by yellow and carbon fiber accents throughout. As for factory options, this Turbo S is equipped with plenty of creature comforts such as heated/adaptive sport seats with memory, park assist, Sirius XM radio tuner, and illuminated door entry guards. The seller has fitted an upgraded pioneer navigation unit complete with backup camera for added convenience (the original radio will be included with the sale).  All electronics are said to be in working order.

The heart of the beast is a 3.8 L twin turbo charged flat six, that is capable of producing 530 HP and 516lb-ft of torque from the factory.  The Turbo S can rocket to 60 mph in approximately 2.9 seconds thanks to the quickness of its 7-Speed PDK transmission which moves all of this power smoothly through all four wheels.  The seller notes that performance is enhanced even further thanks to factory PCCB Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes along with a Vivid Racing tune, Fabspeed exhaust and 200 cell cats (factory components will be included with the sale). A comprehensive 60k-mile service has been carried out by DeYoung European Service along with a recent annual service performed by Porsche of North Scottsdale. This Turbo up-to-date on all maintenance and stands in excellent running condition.

The sale of this Turbo S will include two keys, factory books, service records, a clean Carfax, and original factory components.

@Yianni Agree. The 997.2s are the last of a breed of driver's Turbos with great steering feel. The newer 991s are still exceptional cars but definitely veered far more into the Grand Touring segment of the market.

@JakeMacZ What you are seeing in the hood picture are the imperfections/road rash in the clear-bra material. If it were my personal car I would likely also replace the relatively inexpensive black plastic rocker panel pieces as well as the factory quarter panel clear-shield "stone guards."
Mechanically, the car drives perfectly, has four new Michelins, and a stellar service history, but after 65K miles of enjoyment there are a few wear-related areas evident. It was our goal in being transparent not to minimize these areas in pictures but show them for exactly how they are. These are not detailing flaws. Please watch the walk around video to see how the car looks in various lighting conditions.
Definitely worth noting: This car is priced well, reflective of it being a 65K mile 2012 Turbo S, and not like a 15K mile car that is "perfect." Someone is going to get an excellent car at a great value and have a final year 997.2 Turbo S that they can take out and enjoy driving instead of being too scared to pull it out of the garage and accrue mileage due to depreciation.

@abacpm The curb rash on the RF wheel is scheduled for repair but we were unable to get it completed prior to the photo shoot. It will be back on the car by Friday afternoon.

The car's been detailed? Hood area appears to have some marks, is it the photos?

To any fellow sceptics that they interested in this car I owned couple 997s and currently a 2011 TTS ... maybe one of the best Porsche’s out there to date Bulletproof engine and you can still fill the steering ?

are the curb scraps on the rims going to be redone or is the care being sold as is .....

  • az911 (seller) 4 years, 1 monthago

@kcrootster - Yes, the car can be seen at my facility in north Phoenix. For those who are outside of Arizona we will be posting a full walk around and drive video on Tuesday. Let me know if you have any questions.
