Positioned at the top of its model range, the. 997.2 Turbo S Coupe debuted as the fastest Porsche production car with a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter engine producing 530 HP.  This 2012 example is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over a tan Leather to Sample interior with optional deviated carpets, carbon fiber trim, and extended leather upholstery. It was specified for European Delivery at the Porsche factory in Zuffenhausen and was originally purchased in Hawaii. The car was acquired by the seller in January 2020 as a Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and has since received upgrades including H&R springs and adjustable sway bars, AMS intercoolers, a Fabspeed ValveTronic SuperSport X-pipe exhaust, a Fabspeed Competition intake system, GiroDisc brake rotors, and Spiegler stainless-steel brake lines. This Turbo S is now being offered for auction out of Alabama with under 59k miles showing on the odometer.

This Turbo S Coupe is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic with an optional painted lower rear apron and side skirts. Equipment includes integrated side air intakes, LED daytime running lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, yellow brake calipers, quad exhaust outlets, and 19” RS Spyder wheels dressed in new Bridgestone tires. An additional set of aftermarket OZ wheels with Toyo R888 tires is included with the sale as well. The seller notes the front bumper and forward portion of the hood are covered by a layer of clear paint protection film and the rear of the car was refinished along with repairs to the left rear end following a minor incident in 2021. The seller notes that the incident occurred on a skid pad during a driver’s clinic and the damage repairs were covered by insurance with all corresponding documentation available. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.

Inside, this Turbo S features tan Leather to Sample upholstery complemented by optional deviated black carpeting, the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, and additional carbon fiber trim covering the three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, center console, and illuminated door entry guards. It also features extended leather trim for the defroster air vents, sun visors, inner door sills, door finishers, speaker grilles, PCM Package, and PDK gear selector surround. Other options include heated Adaptive Sport Seats with Driver Memory, a heated steering wheel, the ParkAssist System (rear), and a fuel tank cap in aluminum-look. A few small imperfections are noted on the door sills and some wear is present on the center console ashtray door.

Producing up to 530 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque stock, the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine drives all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is reached in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The Turbo S comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). This example has been modified with AMS intercoolers, a Fabspeed ValveTronic SuperSport X-pipe exhaust, and a Fabspeed Competition intake system for increased power and sound. It has also been upgraded with adjustable H&R sway bars, H&R lowering springs, two-piece GiroDisc brake rotors, Spiegler stainless steel brake lines, and Ferodo brake pads. Service items include a new battery and rebuilt brake calipers in 2023 and new coil packs and spark plugs installed about one year ago.

This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a spare tire, an air pump, a car cover, service records, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This is a beautiful car that can be used daily driver, occasional weekend driving, or track car. The only reason I'm selling is to pursue a dedicated track car.  I can answer any questions on the left rear incident. The quality of the repair work was excellent including the paint match.”

Hello interested bidders! I wanted to add some flavor to the FabSpeed exhaust system. I added a new video to this Ad of what the car sounds like with the exhaust values opened and closed. You essentially have a loud and soft mode and its control with key fob (see video). The soft mode still a bit louder than stock. This is the Valvetronic Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System Fully controllable valved exhaust system includes a quad-resonated center x-pipe section which mitigates exhaust volume while the valves are closed. When the valves are opened, the exhaust bypasses the X-pipe for an aggressive tone. Two unique sounds; one exhaust! Copy and paste this in your browser for a full explanation. https://www.fabspeed.com/porsche-997-2-turbo-turbo-s-valvetronic-supersport-x-pipe-exhaust-system-2010-2012/

Hi Luis. Absolutely, you can drive it to Houston! It does not have a tune, just all raw Porsche HP. But, I suspect the air intake and exhaust modifications have given it a bit more. Thanks for bid!

  • luis.seneriz (registered bidder) 5 months, 2 weeksago

Love the car, the modifications look great. Two questions, any reason why I couldn’t drive it from there to Houston? Does the ecu has been tune, and if it has by who? Thanks

I have the same car but Meteor Grey over Carrera Red. It’s all stock apart from an aftermarket C/F front lip and a DSC controller. Very interested to see where this lands. Good luck!

  • TimR (seller) 5 months, 2 weeksago

@swmic I do. When I first purchased the car, I had the dealer review them. They said the backs were done and the fronts still had life. I still have them all. Thanks!

All of the track time has been during PCA, Chin and Just Track It HPDE's at Barber and Road ATL, but mostly at Barber. Total number of hours I would say is 35 to 40 hours.
