oil and filters. it has been in my climate controlled building during that time compare the mileage, it has only 100-150 miles at best on it during that time as well. i drove it home 2 times and then took it for photos.
@seller - following up on other viewers’ question: can you tell us what service HAS been done in the last 3 years ?
I’ve got a 2012 Targa 4S also in Carrara White - this would be a great stablemate.
Thx & GLWTA
@JohnnyGT3 thank you for making me re inspect this car this closely. let me rephrase. the body is as clean and chip free as humanly possible for a vehicle that has been driven at all, let alone 48,000 miles. now to your specific questions. re the headlights. they are perfect. in fact the headlights are protected with PPF. the outline of the PPF can be seen in the photos around the perimeter of the lights. at the base of the convertible top is evidence of some black adhesive from the factory? no scratches there. that photo shows the area greatly enlarged. it would most certainly clean off. yes there is is a tiny chip on the air intake. one on the nose as well. there was PPF on the entire nose, hood and front fenders and mirrors. we had it removed as it is not wise to leave it on forever.
to be perfectly honest, you have me rethinking the wisdom of listing it at all. hope this answers your questions. looking forward to seeing your bids.
Couple of questions for the seller
photo 9- paint chip in front bumper near the frunk/badge area
photos 40 and 64- can you explain what's happening with the paint near the trim piece, roof opener lid? There appears to be multiple paint chips on both sides of the rear convertible lid
photo 61- driver side vent appears to show a chip
Couple of other observations-
photo 46. Is that a crack in the front light at the top followed by some scratches and paint chips around the light?
Just wondering if there is any PPF on the car? Your comment says not one chip on the car so just making sure if what I'm seeing are chips in the paint or dust/bugs/etc... Sorry to be picky but I am interested in this car.
When was the last service you had and what was done? Records you can post?
Thanks!
Bid in the amount of $64,000
@jpp3 Yes, the one incident the car has ever had was a minor. The rear bumper, and only the rear bumper, was tapped in the incident and repainted. No internal metal or anything structural was touched, as is very evident just by looking inside the engine bay. I had put that information in the listing questionaire but I guess it never made it to the listing . The car has 1 key.
The most recent 3 years will not show on the carfax because we have used the car, albeit minimally ourselves and never registered it. The winning bidder in the auction will be considered the next owner in the chain
Very nice looking color combo. Will you be providing any info about the minor damage and repairs that were performed? Also, do you have any idea what maintenance was done over the 3 missing years on the carfax? Is there a second key that's included? Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $50,000
Great color combo! GLWA!
