The second-generation Porsche 987 was revised with updated styling, a redesigned PCM system, and more powerful direct fuel-injected flat-six engines. This 2012 Porsche 987.2 Boxster S comes finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over black leather upholstery and features a 6-speed manual transmission, 18” Boxster S II wheels, Bi-Xenon headlamps with Dynamic Cornering, and the Bose Surround Sound System. Showing less than 58k miles on the odometer, it is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee.
This Boxster S comes finished in Platinum Silver Metallic with a black retractable soft top. As part of the mid-cycle update, the 987.2 featured new headlights and LED taillights, larger front air intakes with incorporated daytime running lights, and a revised lower rear fascia with twin diffusers. Optional appointments include Bi-Xenon headlamps with Dynamic Cornering and 18” Boxster S II wheels which come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2018. The seller notes the bumpers have been refinished due to minor damages, the windshield has been recently replaced, and minor signs of road wear are present on the front bumper and hood. Inside, this Boxster features a black standard leather interior with an optional wind deflector and the Bose Surround Sound System. Standard equipment includes a CDR-30 AM/FM/CD radio, a multifunction trip computer, HomeLink, cruise control, and climate control. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
This second-generation 987 Boxster S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-six engine featuring direct fuel injection and an output of up to 310 HP and 265 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission which allows the Boxster S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in under 5 seconds and on to a top speed of approximately 170 MPH. The seller adds that a 40k-mile service was performed and recent maintenance items include fluid, filter, and front brake service. The CARFAX report shows a total of 21 service history entries.

No odors or smells, stains, etc. Very clean car inside. I have gotten sensitive to many of those smells and this one just smells like a Porsche.
The car rides and drives very smoothly. These 987.2 direct injection motors always impress me to how much smoother they are than the earlier 987s. A pleasure to drive and the car has a great Porsche exhaust note. No squeaks or rattles clunks or other noises.

@chris_l_waller The windshield was installed by Safelite. They came out to repair a chip and broke the glass. So a replacement was installed through them. Thanks! Miles
