Finished in Black, this Cayman R features lightweight aluminum door panels, Aerokit front splitters, and a fixed carbon fiber rear wing. Details include a silver-painted rear wing, side air inlets & mirrors, black-framed headlights, and lightweight forged 19” Boxster Spyder wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The black leather interior features carbon fiber folding bucket seats with Alcantara center inserts. Equipment includes RS-style door panels with red lightweight pull straps and red seatbelts along with body-color trim pieces, a three-spoke SportDesign steering wheel, and a hoodless instrument cluster. This example features optional automatic air conditioning, automatically dimming mirrors, a rain sensor, a CDR-30 Audio System, a Bluetooth receiver, a Universal Audio Interface, the Sound Package Plus with Storage, and floor mats. The seller notes that a fire extinguisher has been fitted to the driver’s side and a K40 radar system has been installed. Powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine, the Cayman R sends up to 330 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The Sport Chrono Package has been optioned and acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achievable in approximately 4.9 seconds, going on to reach a claimed top speed north of 170 MPH. Standard performance features include VarioCam Plus, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), a Sports suspension lowered by 20mm compared to a standard Cayman S, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. The seller reports a new battery was installed in April of 2024.

Not often is even a good low mile S offered, and when one becomes available they're usually about 60K. Still a screaming bargain now.

That's correct @themachinestl. Again, if it's the dealer I think, they will either sell buckets for 15-18 and list this for 85, or list for 90.

@911SSS Thanks to lower back problems starting as a much younger man, I've been doing the "plop" ("bass ackwards") into the driver's seat of my 911 (all of my cars really) for years! No problem getting in and out. Once you're in you're good to GO!
P.S.: Even after hours behind the wheel, I have never experienced fatigue in Porsche (which is, after all, Recaro) seating. Believe me, the Porsche sport seats in this Cayman R are comfortable & terrific.

@cholz Thank you for your interest. There are no additional maintenance records other than what was provided. The maintenance history is shown in the carfax report. There have been no major issues with the car, just routine annual maintenance. There is no DME report available. The custom red stripes are removable if desired.

@themachinestl - All 997 “GT2” RoW and US buckets fold forward. Look at pic 91. That leather pull strap on the top / back of the seat pulls and allows it to fold forward. There are no adjustments otherwise.

Although picture 95 does show the seat folded forward.
As a Cayman R owner myself, I can attest to the smiles per miles of this car. It seems to almost read my mind. Mine has the carbon fiber bucket seats also, but the "folding" part is something about which I am not aware. I think they're not even adjustable for rake angle.
I'd expect that this will go for all the money. Still it's a bit sad to me to see it's never seen the track - certainly the right thing for valuation, but tough to put a price on the smiles per mile it would have generated on track day. GLWTA!
