Up for auction is this low-mileage 2012 Porsche 987 Cayman R finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over a black leather interior. The Cayman R is desired by many due to its lightness, stiffness, and upgraded performance above other Cayman models. This example has been in the hands of the current owner since 2012 and is now being offered in exceptional condition out of central Florida with only 12k miles on the odometer.
The Platinum Silver Metallic paint is said to remain in exceptional condition. No flaws are noted aside from one small mark on the front bumper which is outlined in the photo gallery. The Cayman R highlights bespoke exterior features including a fixed rear wing, aluminum doors, and a 0.8” lower ride height with stiffer springs which improves handling and provides for a more aggressive stance.
