Now available for auction is this 2013 Audi S8 finished in Daytona Grey Pearl Effect over a black leather interior. Offered as the high-performance version of Audi’s full-size A8 luxury sedan, the S8 features opulent amenities and driver-assist technology, model-specific trim, and a powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine mated to the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. This 2013 example was also ordered with the Night Vision Assistant, Driver Assistance, and Cold Weather Packages at an original sticker price of over $116k. Now showing approximately 52k miles on the odometer, this S8 is being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.

This S8 is finished in Daytona Grey Pearl Effect (LZ7S) with S8-specific features including full LED headlights with automatic high beams, double-chrome slats on the front grille, “V8T” badging on the front fenders, signature aluminum mirror caps, and a revised rear valance with quad exhaust tips.  Some signs of road-going wear are noted on the hood, roof, and front bumper as well as a scratch at the bottom of the driver’s rear door and rear quarter panel, and a scuff on the rear bumper.  The rear tow hook cover is also missing, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a CARFAX report showing damage to have occurred in 2018  This S8 rides on 21” 5-Triple Spoke Design wheels clad in Continental tires dated from 2019 which are said to bear approximately 1,500 miles.

The interior is appointed with black leather and carbon-fiber trim, with extended leather upholstery covering the dashboard, center console, and door panels. The 22-way power-adjustable front seats feature diamond-stitched inserts as well as heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Aluminum S8 door sills greet the driver upon entry, along with aluminum pedals.  The heated leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel features paddle shifters and sits ahead of an Audi MMI instrument display. An 8” pop-up touchscreen in the center dashboard displays multimedia as well as the Parking System Plus surround-view camera. Optional features include infrared Night Vision Assistant with pedestrian recognition and the Cold Weather Package, which equips a heated steering wheel and heated rear seats. The Driver Assistance Package also includes Adaptive Cruise Control, lane change assist, and Audi Pre Sense Plus collision detection. Standard equipment includes double-paned glass, a powered sunroof, an Alcantara headliner, four-zone automatic climate control, and a Bose surround sound system.

The Audi S8 is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbocharged TFSI V8 engine shared with the Bentley Continental GT. Producing up to 520 HP and 481 lb.-ft of torque, the S8 can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 3.5 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH.  Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The S8 rides on an active air suspension system that can be adapted to suit different driving conditions through Audi’s Drive Select system, which also controls throttle response, transmission shift speed, and differential functions. Large six-piston brake calipers provide excellent stopping power while Servotronic speed-sensitive power steering helps the driver guide the S8 through corners.  The seller adds that routine oil changes have been kept up to date.
