Up for auction is this rare 2013 BMW E82 135is 6-speed finished in Jet Black over a black interior with aluminum trim. Reported by the seller to be one of less than 250 manual transmission examples to have been delivered to the North American market, this BMW features M Sport Suspension and exhaust, an M steering wheel, Sport Seats, and 18” wheels as part of its “is” configuration. Furthermore, this example has been upgraded with genuine BMW Sports brakes as well as premium window tint and paint protection film. Showing approximately 8k miles on the odometer, this 6-speed 135is is now being offered by its seller in New Jersey, accompanied by service records, original documentation, and a clean title.
Reported to have always been garage-kept, the Jet Black paint is said to be in immaculate overall condition, with only a small door ding indicated under the passenger side mirror (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Clear paint protection film has been applied over the hood in addition to Llumar Formula one high-performance window tint and Pinnacle Series Air 80 Heat and UV protection on the windshield. @flyyellowrsa A new differential in the 135is offers cooler operating temperatures and, in theory therefore, somewhat greater efficiency in power delivery. It does this by using new double-helical ball bearings, reducing friction and the amount of lubricant needed within the differential. The 135is still doesn't get a true mechanical limited-slip differential like that found in the 1-Series M Coupe, however, instead relying on the familiar brake-based simulated differential lock to improve acceleration and low-traction grip.
