BMW introduced the F13 generation 6 Series in 2012, featuring a longer, lower, and wider design compared to its predecessor, with a more subdued exterior aesthetic. The high-performance M6 variant, also launched in 2012, featured a twin-turbocharged V8 that was hailed as BMW M's most powerful engine for a series-produced vehicle. This 2013 example was purchased new from Sterling BMW in Newport Beach at a cost of over $122k and is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic over a Black Merino leather interior. It features a black soft top, the optional Driving Assistance and Executive packages, 20" 343M wheels, Park Distance Control, soft-close automatic doors, a head-up display, a backup camera, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and more. Showing just under 58k miles on the odometer, this one-owner M6 is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of California.
This M6 is finished in Black Sapphire Metallic (475) and is complemented by high-gloss black Shadowline trim. It features an M6-specific front and rear fascia, integrated LED turn signals in the fender vents, quad exhaust tips, automatic LED headlights with auto-leveling adaptive direction, LED taillights, blue brake calipers with tri-color M logos, chrome kidney grills, and chrome fender vents. It rides on upgraded 20” Style 433M M6 Gran Coupe wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2016. The seller reports the paint is well-maintained and retains its glossy finish, regularly hand-washed and detailed, though minor scratches are observed on the rear bumper, above the plate, door edges, and a small scratch on the driver-side front fender from road debris. The interior showcases Black Merino leather upholstery complemented by black carpeting and carbon fiber trim. Amenities from the optional Executive Package include a heated leather-wrapped multifunction M-Sport steering wheel, soft-close automatic doors, 20-way power-adjustable climate-controlled active seats, and a heads-up display. Power is derived from a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8, delivering up to 560 HP and 500 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission. Notable performance features of the M6 include larger brakes, Servotronic variable power steering, an upgraded M-tuned suspension with Electronic Dampening Control, and selectable M-Drive modes allowing the driver to tailor traction control settings, throttle response, suspension dampening, and steering response. The seller notes the most recent maintenance which was conducted in March of 2023 at 56,826 miles by a certified BMW dealer, encompassed a multi-point inspection, vehicle check, standard scope, replacement of spark plugs and air filters, oil change and filter replacement, brake fluid flush and exchange, and brake bleeding. Additionally, an oil change and rear differential fluid flush were performed in February 2024 by a certified BMW dealer as well as a thorough inspection with no leaks reported.

What is that that we see in the photos of the driver's interior door? Midway back along the top rail there appears to be something that looks like a bulge in the material

@dibblem3 I’ve always had the car serviced by BMW dealership service departments. Unfortunately, certain ones do not post their Repair orders to Carfax so it suggests nothing has occurred. I’ve requested those repair orders to further explain maintenance during course of ownership.

Hi..There is a gap on the Carfax from 2014 to 2014 where there is no activity,ie..Registration, service, etc. Would you elaborate on that time period please?
@mineralfarmer Thank you for your interest and compliment. On occasion, oil top offs in between oil changes have occurred but not frequently. Common with high performance M cars and similar to keep a quart in the trunk for top off situations, even when brand new.
