A high-performance version of Jaguar’s XKR Coupe, the XKR-S features a supercharged V8 engine producing up to 550 HP along with an active sport exhaust system, torque-vectoring differential, special suspension tuning, carbon-effect interior trim, and a lightweight aerodynamic exterior package. This 2013 example comes finished in Glacier White and has been cared for by three owners while maintained at authorized Jaguar dealerships. It was thoroughly serviced within the last year and received an upgraded Mina Gallery supercharger puller, engine performance tune, and additional carbon fiber exterior pieces. This rare Jaguar XKR-S is now being offered for auction out of Texas showing under 29k miles on the odometer.
Compared to a standard XKR Coupe, the XKR-S receives a more aggressive front fascia with additional air scoops in the nose as well as a lightweight carbon fiber rear wing, extended rocker panels, and a rear diffuser. This example is finished in Glacier White. The seller notes a new carbon fiber front splitter from Mina Gallery was installed along with matching bonnet vents and wing mirror caps. The underside of the front bumper is said to have been refinished to address some scrapes and a layer of Xpel paint protection film has been recently applied to the full front end and rocker panels. This XKR-S rides on factory 20” forged aluminum wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2021. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with black leather, white contrast stitching, piano black trim, and unique carbon fiber effect inlays. Amenities include heated 16-way power-adjustable performance seats, a 7” LCD touchscreen with navigation, a Bowers & Wilkins 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, keyless entry with push-button ignition, Jaguar-embossed stainless-steel pedals, and a heated leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters. The seller notes minimal signs of wear on the driver’s seat bolster.
The supercharged and direct-injected 5.0-liter AJ V8 produces up to 550 HP and 502 lb.-ft of torque stock. This example received an upgraded engine tune and a Mina Gallery supercharger pulley for increased performance. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed ZF automatic transmission and an active torque-vectoring limited-slip differential, which allows the XKR-S to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 186 MPH. The factory-upgraded suspension includes aluminum knuckles, stiffer springs and anti-roll bars, active dampers, a quick-ratio steering rack, and a retuned version of Jaguar’s Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS). The car is said to have been regularly maintained by Jaguar dealerships and service was completed by Team CJ Workshops in March 2022 including new brake pads and rotors at each corner.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, a custom-fit indoor car cover, and a clean title.

Sports Car market is down per latest auction reports. I could fly into Austin TX with bank cashier check for 40,000 this week if accepted. That is current market value I have seen. Advise!

@nyccantdrivemanual Actually, the tune has nothing to do with the sound. The sound is bone stock XKR-S. I didn't do anything to the exhaust. You can have it slightly quieter if you don't select the Dynamic mode...but I just can't bring myself to do that :-)
Can you revert the tune to stock for the winner? NYC neighbors will egg the car for sounding too sexy.

I did just return from doing a quick driving video which should be uploaded very shortly. The roads are still pretty greasy here in Austin, so I couldn't go full beans, but I think you'll get the general idea! This XKR-S is very quick and sounds fantastic!

We picked up our XKRS in Chicago a few years ago in March and drove it back to Nashville and got caught in some sleet and icy weather. I would not recommend taking that car out if the roads aren’t dry lol. My wife still brings it up. Ha ha ha.

Hi all! While I did make it into work through the ice storm today, the roads are littered with downed power lines and trees, so a driving video is out of the question. I also have no power in any of my garages. I did manage to get a colleague to do a quick iPhone video of a cold start, which I have uploaded to Pcarmarket. Hopefully that will post soon. Unfortunately it’s nothing more than a cold start and blipping the throttle a couple of times to 3k rpm, so nothing very informative or exciting!
I just realized the listing doesn’t mention the fact that I replaced the carbon fiber front splitter. The original splitter had a big stone chip in it so I bought and installed a new splitter from the Mina Gallery. It looks exactly the same as the OEM splitter, but the carbon fiber is thicker and more sturdy.
I just tried to upload a teaser video showing the XKR-S with some of its stablemates. I guess Pcarmarket admin will post that tomorrow - not quite sure how that works. I will also do at least a cold start video tomorrow, and if there is the slightest possibility of a break in the weather, I will do a quick driving video. The car drives as new (only faster) and sounds incredible.

@nyccantdrivemanual Unfortunately Austin has been covered in a sheet of ice so far this week, so a driving video will not be possible before the auction closes. @Jumpmaster We haven’t Dyno’d the car since we did the Mina Gallery intake, pulley and tune, but I expect conservatively 50 HP, maybe 75? Unfortunately, the main reason I am selling this car is I am totally out of space, so I’m afraid I can’t stash it for you. ?
@JamesGoodfellow I answered James’ question on DM, but yes, the car has OEM cats so smog testing etc is not a problem.
Just noticed that car cover…. Nice. How much hp did they get from the pulley and tune? I’ll bet the rearend gets really crazy with even more hp. If I bid on it can one of you guys hide it at your place for a bit … I’m afraid of my wife. She already has to park her SUV in the garage so our sports cars can sit inside.

My GT, P7 and P8 are all white on black also so this would make a great addition to my garage, but my garage is all full up and my wife has cut me off from car buying for a bit lol. I’m trying to talk to my buddies into buying it at the moment, just to keep it in my sphere of neon influence lol.

I don’t want to cross a boundary by posting links myself here but it’s pretty easy to fine if you wish. I’m biased, of course. I only have four Jags at the moment lol.

@Jumpmaster I totally agree! They easily represent the best value in a 10 year old “supercar”, which they certainly were in period. Add to that the Mina Gallery supercharger pulley, intake and tune, and this car is well over 600 HP. It is still quick by 2023 standards!
These are pretty rare also. I think they shipped something like 50 to the United States in 2012 and no more than a couple hundred for the following years. I believe the run was 2012 till 2015 and in 2015 all they oily was the final 50 version. My YouTube partner took one ride in it and I was following him in the GT. He’s kind of an American muscle guy so soon as he pulled out into the intersection he got on it and ended up facing me lol. That was the only time he ever drove it. I think it scared him a bit.
I’ve owned the XK, XKR, XKR-S and now have the XKR-S GT the project7 in the Project8. The XKR-S was the most fun of all of them…was just the right amount of scary. One of the best bang for the buck anywhere. You really have to respect the car though, that extra 40 hp will just get you another hundred feet into the woods. Excellent weeklong rally car. Tons of room inside super luxurious, extremely comfortable, keeps up with all the other supercars.

@Handsofstone I’m not sure it has any of the very few options that were available. Off the top of my head, suede steering wheel and a carbon fiber engine cover were two options, neither of which this car has, and the “bright chrome pack” option was also not applicable to this car.

@Handsofstone While I am away from the car I searched my phone for unstaged pics of the XKR-S and found a couple of the passenger side door gap. One is sitting in my garage at home, and one was a random snap taken through my office window at work. Not sure if they help or not, but I thought I might as well upload them until I have an opportunity to take proper photos next week.

@TeamCJ Thanks it does look like the angles were different for the pictures and maybe the car being white it just looks like it is larger gaps with the gaps being a darker color. We appreciate it.
I have one of these in FRB and it’s such a great car for the money. Feels old school in all the right ways. I periodically think of selling it but I can’t think of what I’d replace it with at the same price point that would bring more enjoyment.
@Handsofstone It is just the angle, the gaps are similar and 100% factory. I’m away at Cavallino for the weekend but will have more pics taken for you when I return.
Love the car. These are just such great looking cars. I hate to ask, and maybe it is the angle of the pictures, but the passenger side door gap looks much larger than the driver's side door. Again, maybe it is the angle???? Can some new pictures be taken of both sides at the same height
