Now up for auction is this 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG finished in Diamond White Metallic over a premium Designo black leather interior with white deviated stitching. This top-of-the-line AMG-tuned version of Mercedes’ ML-Class luxury SUV commanded an original sticker price of over $125k which includes upgraded AMG wheels, the Bang &Olufsen Sound System, and the Performance Package which brings the output of the V8 Biturbo engine up to 550 HP. This 2-owner 2013 example is said to be in exceptional overall condition with regular service, professional detailing, and a brand-new engine installed under warranty at 35k miles. Currently showing approximately 70k miles on the odometer, this ML 63 AMG is now being offered by its seller in South Carolina accompanied by original books, keys, and a clean title.

The AMG-tuned 5.5 L Biturbo V8 engine features the $6,550 Performance Package that brings the total output up to 550 HP and 560 lb.-ft of torque. An AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission drives all four wheels, providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.7 seconds and a top speed governed at 174 MPH. Other performance features include 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, AMG electromechanical power steering, AIRMATIC adaptive air suspension, and the AMG high-performance braking system. Regularly scheduled service is said to have been kept up to date including routine oil changes every 5k miles. The engine was also replaced under warranty by Mercedes at 35k miles following a persisting check engine light. There is no outstanding maintenance, and this ML is reported to be in superb turn-key driving condition.

I would normally never do this but with all the talk about shill bidding, I thought I would put the serious bidders at ease so I am removing the reserve. Hence the car is selling today. And of course and bidding will have to be real. There was never any phony bidding on this car anyway but this way everyone can relax. Average cars of this ilk sell for mid to high 30's and I can tell you this is not by any means an average car but rather many levels above. Not to mention it was a $125,000 before tax car with rare Performance Package. Good luck to all.

The bidding process of which you speak really doesn't play a part as the auction reaches its conclusion. If there is a phony buyer he drops out early bec he doesn't really want the car. Only real bidders are left as the car reaches its potential. BAT and this site have a very high sell through rate. This site is, I believe, 90%. That suggests an honest auction process. If it wasn't there would be many online screaming bloody murder and that isn't the case.
@scoobywrx You know. I’ve been part of the auction world both in person and online for sometime now. I’ll make a few quick points. To each his own but I’m not a big fan of BaTs system where people can see what I bid on. It’s a longer discussion but that’s my perspective.
Also. I know many people hope the auction fails so they can poach the car and avoid fees. This format of commenting allows people like @scoobywrx to look like a public servant, when all he is is a poacher. His comments are clear about his intentions. If you don’t like the format of bidding what’s fair and in your comfort zone, and paying fair fee then don’t bid.
I have been watching Pcar BaT RM Gooding and others for many many years The bottom line is stay in your lane if you’re not comfortable with online bidding but wonderful cars are being offered and bidders don’t have a gun to their heads. We all know the self serving pulpit many people take advantage of. Let’s just be fair to all and enjoy the product that they have brought to market. Why the seller is allowing these bidders to ruin his auction is strange. Tell these guys to bid. It’s that simple. If you like the car and want to own it.... bid. If not, don’t. Ive sold cars on BaT about 2 years ago and Pcar more recently. I received messages from on bidders telling me if the auction fails they would be interested. I told them to bid. Funny I felt the same. I'm very familiar with BAT. Not so familiar with this newer site. When I first clicked on a name and nothing came up, I tried again and a third time wondering what I was doing wrong. Alas. Nothing. It can't be that hard to write some code to track bidders and sellers so one can suss out scammers. Shame on them for not doing it. This is one reason I posted some links to my website early on in this listing so I can be vetted. It's not too hard to find my history with BAT lurking below in some of the earlier postings. Don't think BAT is devoid of shill bidders. I've exposed a couple. At least with some work you can find them out. Here all you can do is try and get clues on the body of work by the listing seller. They are there if you look for them. I'm surprised that anyone seriously looking at buying a particular doesn't start at the bottom and read all the postings!

@rhart A couple of people asked about oil leaks and garaging. The slot in the garage is bone dry under the car. It has never leaked. The car has alway been garaged kept. When I had my shop it was parked inside my warehouse while at work.
@j23navarro This is only a rough estimate. $700-800 open and double that for enclosed. A friend moved a full size Range Rover from Palm Springs to Orlando earlier this year and it was $1500.

@useppaisland Yes, new engine has 35,000 miles on it. Carfax has good records of service. I had a Porsche shop in CA before retiring and moving to East Coast. See my website RSRconcept.com to verify that I am as fastidious as you. I had my mechanics do service and it got oil and filter changes every 4-5,000 miles. I do have receipts for service done on East Coast. I'm happy to email them to you. You can contact me through my website or know that Major Service was done in March of 2020 and Minor was done about a week ago here in Charleston.

Mercedes Benz replaced the engine at 35,000. Mike’s because the check engine light did not go off so the present engine only has 35,000. Mike’s on in correct?

@useppaisland I looked for and can't find receipt. I'm guessing they have on the order of 8-10,000 miles. They are not new but far from wear bars. They are Michelin Pilot Sports and cost quite a bit more than the other brands for this car.

@useppaisland Hi. Yes it has it. Note the window sticker, it mentions it has 7 Spd Trans with Shift Paddles and 4Matic Permanent All-wheel Drive.
It also has heated and ventilated seats with memory and lumbar and message. I no longer buy cars without ventilated seats (unless vintage) here in the south. Both heat and cool have 3 different settings for seats.

@GermanBritlvr Agreed. I'm mainly a Porsche guy but the AMG version of this MB with the Performance Package is better in many ways than the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, which is a great car also. Just not as good. The Performance Package is nearly impossible to find and worth every cent.
I have a black 2015 version of this beast!!!! One of the best rides I've ever owned. At times you forget you are in an SUV.....Best of luck with the sale and the new owner is going to love it!
@Phardie1 Drivers seat, in fact all seats, show like brand new so I went to photos and see that my crappy photography caused a large bright flashed area on drivers seat. Seats are virtually like new for two reasons. MB seats are amazingly durable and the first owner was a small Asian guy and I'm skinny so the seats have never been squashed by a large driver. The area you see on the steering wheel is dynamica, a che che suede like material they often use on performance/competition wheels. It is not worn. Happy to re-shoot the seat if someone wishes.
The drivers seat and steering wheel look somewhat worn, is that correct?

The last service was done by a small Mercedes shop in Fruitland Park FL. Major service and done in March of 2020. I just did a Minor Service last week in Charleston at Ottohaus. They have a master MB mechanic.

Yes, thanks for reminding me, I do have the shade. Taken out when new. The Porsche decal is still on the car tho I'm happy to remove it if buyer wishes. It may not show on some pix as the back window is curved and it is on the corner perhaps just out of view.
