22k-Mile 2013 Porsche 991 Carrera S 7-Speed Sunroof Delete

Finished in Guards Red over a black interior, this 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe pairs a 7-speed manual transmission with its naturally aspirated 3.8-liter engine. It was ordered without a sunroof and equipped with an optional SportDesign steering wheel, Power Sport Seats, Premium Package Plus, and BOSE Audio Package. Cared for by three prior owners and with just over 22k miles showing on the odometer, this rare sunroof-delete Coupe is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.

This 991 is finished in Guards Red and comes with red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets as standard on the Carrera S. It rides on factory 20” Carrera S wheels with optional colored center crests and Pirelli P Zero tires. The finish is described to be in excellent overall condition and the tires show production date codes from 2016 in the front and 2018 in the rear. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The seller adds that paint meter readings are all within the original range.

The black leather interior is appointed with 14-way Power Sport Seats, BOSE Audio Package, and a SportDesign steering wheel. Other options include telephone and navigation modules, Online Services, and Premium Package Plus which adds front seat heating and ventilation, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Porsche Entry & Drive, and Ambient Lighting.

As much as 400 HP is sent to the rear wheels from a 3.8-liter flat-six engine paired with a 7-speed manual transmission. A history of routine maintenance is shown on the CARFAX report and the seller states a full service was completed by a Porsche dealer in October 2022.

This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

I assume there is no sport exhaust or rev matching. Please confirm.

  • siliev1991 1 month, 3 weeksago

@copleymotorcars it would be hilarious if a similar report is available for Ferraris and Lamborghinis that get a solid 2 minutes of redline revving every time they stop at a red light and someone with a camera happens to be there. Haha

  • copleymotorcars (seller) 1 month, 3 weeksago

@siliev1991 thanks much for the note. these DME's for sure can drive one crazy!!!

  • siliev1991 1 month, 3 weeksago

@copleymotorcars oops.. you're right. I missed the 3 ignition per revolution in my calculation. In any case, like I said, I agree this is a good report and if a similar one is pulled for my car it would be a heck of a lot more. This car has not been abused.

  • copleymotorcars (seller) 1 month, 3 weeksago

@siliev1991 i will admit that my "millisecond" descriptor meant more as a feel for how super-low the number is, and not mathematically exact. if we do get out said hp12C, my math shows me: 241 ignitions, 3 ignitions per revolution = 80.33 revolutions, 7600 revolutions per minute, 126.67 revolutions per second, making for .63 seconds. happy to continue with the banality of this discussion and any math corrections. all that said, regardless of how one mathematically interprets this over-rev report, the conclusion just might be that it is not a discussion point at all. thanks for the math tutelage and thanks for any bidding on this impeccable example.

  • siliev1991 1 month, 3 weeksago

@copleymotorcars I agree the DME report looks good, but not sure where you got 1 millisecond for range 1. 241 ignitions in range one would be close to 2 seconds spent in that range. Still a very low number but not a millisecond! In fact its more like 8 milliseconds per ignition at 7600 rpm.

that DME is about as perfect as they come - thanks for sharing!

  • copleymotorcars (seller) 2 monthsago

hello all: the DME/over-rev report has just been added to the photo gallery. a slide rule or hp12C always helpful when reviewing these numbers. in short, a millisecond in range 1, less than that in range 2, none above range 2.

@skywalker27612 thanks for the comment. the three high readings are from the roof, and there is zero eveidence anywhere of previous non-factory paint hsitory here. i'll attribute the roof readings to the sunroof delete?

  • skywalker27612 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

I assume there was some paint work based on reading which is twice higher than other panels. Any history since carfax doesn't show accidents?

  • copleymotorcars (seller) 2 monthsago

@WilHehman the paint is impeccable and surprsingly free of swirl marks.

  • WilHehman (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

Beautiful car - and very thorough photos!

Looking forward to seeing the DME, although not expecting any surprises.

    Any swirls in the paint?

  • copleymotorcars (seller) 2 monthsago

@WilHehman We'll have a DME in the coming few days. Thanks for the bid:)
